About the host
Hosted by Design Center Dwellings

Hi, I’m Amanda—owner of Design Center Dwellings and Design AF. I’m a Tennessee native and proud UT Knoxville grad (Go Vols!). I love all things design, hosting, cooking, creek time, and cheering on my team during football season. When I’m not working on a new space, you’ll find me spending time with my family and my sweet dog. I’m passionate about creating beautiful, welcoming homes where guests can relax, connect, and feel inspired. So glad you’re here!
Why they chose this property
I chose this neighborhood because I truly love the area—it’s peaceful, charming, and surrounded by nature. Being just steps from Tellico Grains Bakery is a dream (the smells alone will win you over!), and there’s no shortage of outdoor adventure nearby. I enjoy hiking the many trails in the Cherokee National Forest, fly fishing in the Tellico River, and taking scenic drives—especially along the famous Tail of the Dragon or the Cherohala Skyway.
Whether you're into kayaking, exploring waterfalls, riding motorcycles, or simply enjoying small-town charm with great local shops and dining, Tellico Plains has something for everyone. It’s the kind of place that helps you slow down and soak it all in.

What makes this property unique
What makes this space truly special is that it was designed by me—with comfort, style, and inspiration in mind. Every piece in the home was carefully chosen, and it’s all shoppable! You can scan the QR code while you're here or visit our website to bring a little of that cozy, curated feel into your own home.
I’ve poured a lot of heart into creating a space that feels warm, welcoming, and lived-in—not just like a rental. My goal is for you to feel completely at home, maybe even inspired to take a bit of that feeling with you.
