About this property
3BR Beach Escape w/ Decks, Games, Views & Firepit
Let’s get one thing out of the way early: this is the kind of place where you show up, exhale, and immediately start wondering why you don’t live near the beach.
Lost Salt Surf Shack sits just steps from the Gulf, where the biggest decisions of your day are coffee or cocktail, sunrise or sunset, and whether you’re going to the beach now… or in five minutes.
You’ll have a front-row seat to ships passing by, steady coastal breezes, and enough space to spread out without losing the group entirely.
🛏️ The Setup
This place is built for real people, not staged photos.
• 3 bedrooms:
– King bed (for those who take sleep seriously)
– Queen bed (reliable, no nonsense)
– Bunk room with two twin-over-twin bunks (great for kids or the “I’ll take whatever bed” friend)
• Sleeps up to 6 guests comfortably
• Open living space that actually works
• Fully stocked kitchen for real meals (or at least solid attempts)
• Laundry closet, because beach + sand = unavoidable
🌅 Outside Is the Main Event
This is where the house really shines.
• Top deck with wide coastal views
Perfect for:
– Morning coffee
– Evening drinks
– Watching ships pass by like you’ve got nowhere to be
• Downstairs patio for shade and relaxing
• Propane grill ready for use (downstairs only)
📍 Location (The Good Kind of Quiet)
You’re on the western edge of Bolivar Peninsula, which means:
• Fewer crowds
• More space
• A slower, quieter pace
It’s the part of the beach people come to actually relax.
Nearby:
• Fort Travis Seashore Park
• Local seafood spots
• Easy ferry access to Galveston (free ride, great views)
🚗 Getting Around
• Most guests drive — parking available at the home
• Golf carts are popular and allowed in the neighborhood and on the beach
• Beach driving is permitted with a pass
• Shops, restaurants, and the ferry are all a short drive away
💬 Communication
Message me anytime through the platform. If something comes up, I’ll respond quickly and help however I can.
⚠️ A Few Important Notes
• $300 security deposit hold (pre-authorization only)
• Placed 3 days before check-in, released 4 days after checkout

– Beach-facing

This place isn’t trying too hard.
It just gets the important things right:
– space
