The house has its own entrance, with two bedrooms, one with queen bed and the second with two single beds. There is a well appointed bathroom, fully fitted kitchen, separate laundry room and spacious lounge which leads onto a patio with beautiful views of the mountain and nearby vlei. There is off-street parking for two cars.
The patio is perfect for having sundowners while having a braai /barbeque and enjoying the view.
Muizenberg Beach is 5 minutes' drive away, with St. James and Kalk Bay offering interesting shops, restaurants and tidal pools, just around the corner.
Walks in the Mountain behind Lynx Vista are on your doorstep, with windsurfing, kayaking and sailing on Zandvlei a stone's throw away.
Wifi and TV is included, plus there is an office chair and desk to do business, if needed.
Travelling to Cape Town city along the M3 is an easy, half-hour drive outside peak times.

Absolutely will be back!Great property, amazing views, ideal location and fabulous hosts. So kind and attentive especially after our very long travels and loss of luggage. Ideal for a couple or small family with all the amenities you could want. Close to shops to get essentials and easy location to navigate around. Onsite parking was a bonus.

Ruhige Unterkunft mit traumhafter AussichtDie Wohnung entsprach genau der Beschreibung. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die fantastische Aussicht von der Terrasse – wirklich ein Highlight. Auch die ruhige Lage hat uns sehr gefallen und für eine entspannte Atmosphäre gesorgt.Leider gab es während unseres Aufenthalts ein größeres Problem: Aufgrund eines Rohrbruchs im Wasserleitungssystem in Tokai hatten wir für etwa 2,5 Tage kein fließendes Wasser. Das hat unseren Aufenthalt erheblich beeinträchtigt, sodass wir uns schließlich entschieden haben, in eine andere Unterkunft nach Kapstadt umzuziehen. Soweit wir erfahren haben, kommen solche Unterbrechungen in der Region gelegentlich vor, normalerweise jedoch für kürzere Zeiträume.Potenzielle Gäste sollten sich dieses möglichen Risikos bewusst sein.

Long term stay

The apartment was lovely and the owners were helpful and friendly. The wifi was slow but that is soon to be upgraded to a fibre optic link. The view from the apartment is spectacular. The local Woolworths has good quality food and the adjacent restaurant is open during the day for breakfast and lunch and on friday nights for dinner. The property is accessed via a steep slope but a car is essential anyway. We will have good memories of the place.

What a fantastic view ?

A very pleasant place, with a wonderful view over a lake with flamingoes. A perfect departure for nature hiking. Our host Cornel is very friendly and ready to help.

Excellent experience

We stayed for two weeks in this lovely apartment. We were very happy with everything. The only suggestion I could make, would be to have a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Thank you every so much for making our stay so enjoyable. Susan and Kevin
