About this property

Historic Home on 32nd near Downtown Bryan

Our single-story, 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is nestled in the Historic District of Bryan, minutes from downtown restaurants and shopping. The Red Brick Rose was built in 1935 and retains much of her original character and charm with modern amenities. Two bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, and the third bedroom sits just a few feet from the hall bathroom. Each bedroom is equipped with a SmartTV and armoire for storage. The living area is home to a gas fireplace, piano and lots of books, games and puzzles for guest use. Off the living area, the sunroom is a relaxing space for young and old alike with several toys, art supplies and views of the backyard. The kitchen is stocked with a drip coffee maker, Keurig and all your cooking essentials. The breakfast room just off the kitchen is the coziest spot for morning coffee. Out back, the spacious deck and large live oak are ready to welcome you (so are the mosquitoes in the summertime so we've supplied some bug spray in the laundry room - just remember to spray it outside only). The backyard has lots of green space for kiddos to play and a small garden planted that you are welcome to eat from when the growing season is happening. The home is convenient to all of the area attractions, including 10 minutes to Kyle Field, 5 minutes to Legends Event Center, and 2 minutes to downtown Bryan.

We are recent transplants to the Bryan/College Station area and have fallen in love with the friendly folks here and all BCS has to offer. We stay busy with our kiddos' schedules and enjoy traveling to National Parks in our free time.

Why they chose this property

This home is stately on the outside and embodies character and warmth on the inside. We hope you enjoy its uniqueness as much as we do. The original homeowners - the Regenbrechts - built this home in 1935. Mr. Regenbrecht was a published author by Texas A&M University Press back in the 50's. His passion was animal husbandry, specifically pig farming. The original plans for the home hang in the living room and we've created a fun scavenger hunt to keep kids busy. We love the history of this home and hope to continue sharing it for many years to come.
