Built in 1911, Downtown Sarasota historic Victorian-Style single family home sleeps six. Walk to downtown, theater, Shopping, restaurants, clubs, bars and more. No car needed here. Great location in the heart of Sarasota. How often do you get to stay in an officially registered home built in 1911? Probably never. This is truly a Sarasota landmark that puts you back in time yet has all the comforts and modern amenities you can expect to find. Rental age restrictions: This property has a minimum primary renter age requirement of 25.
- Upon booking, a signed rental agreement and government issued photo identification are required prior to receiving an electronic access code to the property.
- Pets are welcome, however we do charge a $75 non-refundable fee per pet*.
*Due to online booking policies, some payments may need to be submitted after the booking is reserved and confirmed. Please let us know if you have questions about the policies prior to booking.

To help you get settled, we provide a limited supply of essential starter items upon arrival. These are intended to get you through the first few days and may not last for the duration of your stay,.

We encourage our guests to do their best to sort the trash & recycle where possible.

Wonderful location Sarasota

House suited our needs. Location in town was great and ideal to have a fenced yard for the dogs. We enjoyed our stay immensely and visiting friends were very pleased . Would definitely like to return.

Tear down with mold

This 1911 house has not been updated in over a hundred years. Shabby, smelly, dark. Family couldn't stay. Management company not responsive.

This review is offensive and not true. You checked in and decided you didn't like the house and so complained about anything and everything to get a refund. We did refund you the entire stay. Our team called you repeatedly, left VMs and still never heard back from you. This house is historic and over 100 years old. We tell you this in the listing. It's clean and maintained. Maybe you thought we were the Embassy Suites but that's down the street for triple the price.

Premium Rental Disappointing

I rented this property for 3 weeks at a premium price but was disappointed with the cleanliness and quality of linens. The house is in a desperate need of deep cleaning and new towels and linens. Dusty cushions and carpets made it unsuitable for those with allergies. The towels, blankets and quilts were old and stained. Newer bath towels were provided later but no hand towels or facecloths were received. The porch was lovely but the wicker needed painting and cleaning, and the deck was dirty and in need of a power wash. The yard is also very overgrown needing a cleanup and pruning of plants. There is good wireless, a/c and heat and the kitchen was well-equipped. There is a monitor and VCR but no cable or streaming device - so if you want to watch TV or movies, bring your own device. Unfortunately, rodents made an appearance in week 2. The rental agency sent an exterminator but no offer of a temporary relocation or refund was made.

Thank you for your review and feedback. Our cleaners do a fine job and sometimes guests request some additional cleaning which we are always happy to do. We are also happy to bring over extra towels, sheets, etc. when requested. This home has been extensively "rodent-excluded" within the past year by a professional vendor. No rodents were caught nor found after your reporting of such. We are always willing to make arrangements, if necessary, to move a guest for any reason to ensure a great experience everytime. We value your feedback and hope to see you again.

Excellent location

This place has everything you need for your stay. The front porch is wonderful and the rooms have enough space to be able to move around in them, which was nice. The parking on the street and having to hope that you would get a spot wasn’t ideal, but once we parked we were close enough to everything that we really didn’t need to move our car. I would definitely stay here again.
