This property was advertised as a private community with pool, right on route 66 ideal for the balloon fiesta. The complex was quite rundown with people living in trailers in the parking lot, construction trucks and men hanging out, and overflowing dumpsters. As far as the apartment itself, it was lacking. The a/c never actually cooled the place down, working only as a fan. The bathroom was missing a bath mat, and pool towels and the beds were very uncomfortable. There was nothing to make the balloon fiesta easier, so we bought and left camp chairs and picnic blanket. Lastly the kitchen was not set up to actually prepare food and didn't even have a coffee maker! This was very basic accomodation, and I expected a lot more for the nightly rate!

I’m sorry you feel like that. Hope you understand that you visited us in the most popular week of ABQ when people struggled to find places to stay to enjoy the Balloon Festival and that’s why you might seen people staying in trailers bc couldn’t find a place to stay so no wonder that weekend the dumpsters were full of garbage ready to be picked up on Monday. Regarding the pool, it is always closed on October due to the weather and rainy season so no need to leave pool towels at the apartment. The kitchen is fully prepared for cooking all meals but unfortunately I removed the coffee maker because guests been asking for different kind of models and flavors. I was sure to removed that as an option from our listing so please don’t complain for something that we don’t offer. Regarding the AC unit, the previous guests before your arrival left the unit set at 62F and the coils got frozen and didn’t start back working until they thaw so please accept our apologies about that. I’m going to be sure to put a label besides the thermostat to don’t abuse the unit.

Did not realize that it was biracial neighborhood Location was good, everything worked
The apartment was very clean, and free of clutter. Everything that we needed for a weekend stay was provided. I did not have to communicate with the host during my stay. We stayed in October; the weather did not permit using the pool facility.
Guest booked for 4 adults and 1 children but ended having 10 people drinking, smoking, and party in and out the apartment. Called him to follow rules and stop that behavior. They left the apartment clean but I discovered that someone peed in one of the drawers! I had to claim for damages to get it cleaned properly. I will never rent him again! I suggest to avoid this guest!
