This spacious 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom condo comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests with a variety of sleeping options, including one king bed, one double bed, three twin beds, and a queen sleeper sofa. The condo boasts vaulted ceilings and a bright, inviting sunroom with skylights that flood the living space with natural light. Outside, you'll find a convenient shuttle to take you to the ski lifts, or you can head to Lakeside Village for shopping and dining. Guests can also enjoy the shared amenities at The Pines, including an indoor pool, hot tubs, a sauna, and more!

Located on the quieter side of the building, this condo offers a peaceful retreat to enjoy relaxation after a day on the mountain. The cozy living area features oversized furniture, a flat-screen TV, and a wood-burning fireplace to gather around. The queen sleeper sofa provides additional sleeping space. Just off the living area, the sunroom offers a bright and airy spot to unwind, with two seating areas—one of which includes a futon for extra sleeping accommodations. Extra linens for the sleeper sofa and futon are conveniently stored in a nearby closet.

The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals away from home, and the dining area, located just off the living space, seats six comfortably. A convenient half bath is also located on the main level for guest use. All bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed, a flat-screen TV, and private access to the sunroom. The en suite bathroom includes double sinks and a shower/tub combination. Upstairs, the loft serves as a second bedroom, offering a double-sized bed, two built-in twin beds, and an additional twin bed in an adjacent room. This space can be closed off for privacy and also has its own TV. The upstairs bathroom includes a single sink vanity and a shower/tub combination.

The apartment is nice and we were so grateful to bring our pets, but the check-in and check-out times in addition to the process was frustrating and disappointing to say the least. We thought the costs for the overall stay was high for the distance from shops, restaurants, etc., amenities, condition of the apartment and parking situation. If you are looking for a place to stay put for the weekend with friends, and just be in this specific location, I recommend this place.

Larger than expected!

I don't even remember how many we decided could sleep in this unit but it's a TON. We only had 4 in our group but location was excellent to pop over to A Basin and having elevator made 3rd floor a non issue. Plenty of towels, pillows, bedding. Only suggestion would be some smaller cooking pans. There were plenty of pans, but they were are huge.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week in the mountains. We have used SC Mountain Retreats numerous times in the past. Very quick response to my inquiry prior to booking and helpful with a late night water faucet dilemma and stayed in constant contact until we got if resolved. There was more than enough space for the 4 of us (5 counting our dog). We golfed several times at the Keystone River course so the condo location was perfect. We cooked several meals and there were plenty of dishes, glasses and pots & pans which isn't always the case with short term rentals. Only thing needed is an oven mit. Overall we had a great stay just a few minor maintenance items....broken light switch cover in the bathroom, very loose faucet in the bathtub which caused a slight hiccup and prior guests wash cloth hanging over the shower head. Would definitely consider staying here next year when we come back.

But this particular unit did not have a working oven or a functional dishwasher. They put a countertop toaster oven next to the sink as a substitute, but none of the pans/cookware actually fit into this device. Short story, if you want to cook your own meals, do not rent this condo. We were forced to eat out / order in food every night of our stay. Was told I was going to get a refund within 30 days. I’m still waiting for it to hit my acccount.

Welcome packet pick-up link was sent to my phone just a few hours before check-in. My phone put it in spam. This break started off stressful. Peaceful and snowy

It was beautiful outside, lots of new snow. Some of the family couldn't make it up because of the roads, but those that came had a great time skiing and sledding!

According to the listing the condo was a "13 minute walk to the gondola" and appeared to be about 1000 meters East of the Amtrak station. When I received the actual address it was for a condo 4 miles West of the resort. NOT walkable at all.I contacted VRBO and they said the address matched their listing so they didn't care. The actual condo was great but I thought I could walk to the resort and absolutely could not. They should change the listing.

It was okay for the price

The complex is nice and the pool center was good. The unit seems to have been used heavily. One of the lounge chairs was bottomed out and couldn't be used. The futon mattress was stained and not comfortable. Cleanliness was okay, could have been better. Wouldn't stay in this unit again, but it was just okay.

And it was close to the resort and offered a shuttle. I also really liked how easy you can pick up the keys for the lodge.The cons of this place was 1. The dish washed was out of order which I understand they may have been waiting on a part for it which could explain the delay. 2. There were only 3 bowls provided for food. 3. The most irritating part was how they only provide just enough towels for each guest. Only 1 towel per guest. We wanted one more for the hot tub. We called the number provided on the fridge to reach management and when the person on the other end answered, they told us they don’t service our lodge. So we had no idea who to contact for more towels. Not sure why there was a number on the fridge for housekeeping that wasn’t for the lodge we were staying at.Overall, not a bad lodge especially for the price.

Avoid The Pines #2059: Unhygienic & Unsafe

Reviewer Comments: This documents housekeeping and maintenance issues encountered at The Pines #2059 during a recent stay.Housekeeping:Coffee and end tables in the main room were unclean with food, dirt and greasy handprint stains.Master bathroom shower curtain and shampoo bottles were visibly dirty.Pizza rack in the kitchen contained old food residue.Master bedroom: dried fluids on night standMaintenance:Living room armchair was worn and uncomfortable, sinking to the floor.Loveseat cushions were worn and the frame was exposed, making it unusable.Dishwasher tray lacked three wheels, posing a breakage risk.Toaster malfunctioned with sparking, rendering it unusable.Fireplace door was broken and wouldn't close properly.Master bedroom door had a large hole and was difficult to open due to carpet.Master bedroom toilet was not properly secured to the floor.Downstairs bathroom toilet had flushing issues.Sunroom window handle was broken and sharp.These issues significantly impacted the comfort and enjoyment of the stay. After a 7 hour drive, we did not expect to start by cleaning our unit and putting paper towels on the most disgusting areas.
