About this property

Hayduke's Hideout - Downtown, Dog Friendly

Fun hideout right in the middle of town. Within walking distance (4-5min) to the most popular section of Main Street. Two bedrooms, one Queen & one Full Bed. One bathroom. A petite kitchen (stove/oven, microwave, tea kettle, French press with coffee, and retro style fridge are apartment sized). 2 parallel parking spots right in front along the slap wood fence.

Our little 600 sq ft cozy and unique cottage in downtown Moab is charming 'Old-School Moab Style' at its best. Vintage art throughout!

Hyduke's Hideout has a fenced yard.
We are "dog" people and understand how difficult it is to leave your friend at home. We allow up to 2 dogs in Hayduke’s Hideout. Our pet fee is $30 per pet. In your cottage you will find a "Pet Package" containing a towel, waste bags and yummy treats to welcome our four legged guests. Please check in with us if you are planning on bringing your furry family member with you. To ensure that all guests have an enjoyable stay, we ask pet parents to agree to the following Pet Policy before booking one of our pet friendly cottages:

By booking one of our cottages, you agree that:

• My pet is not aggressive; up to date with vaccinations and is well socialized with other animals and with other people.
• My pet is free of ticks and fleas.
• My pet will be with me, under my care at all times. (Alternatively, my pet is crate trained and will be in crate if left unattended in unit.)
• My pet will be on a leash and under my control when outside.
• I will clean up after my pet and dispose of any waste.
• I will keep my pet off of all furniture including the bed, chairs or couches.
• I will assume financial responsibility for any damage caused by my pet during my stay.

Wi-Fi

Moab is such a special place, and we work hard to make sure that the experience will not stop with your surroundings.

Haydukes Hideout is located on an artsy off-beat street in the middle of town. While you can walk to all the restaurants and shops on Main Street, you also feel like you are in a secluded nook! At the end of the street is located our community space where we host yoga, silent discos, music jams, voice circles and special workshops. See our IG hearthspacemoab for our events and calendar.

Moab does offer a Taxi service, but you'll be right in the middle of town so most likely you'll just walk or take a bike.

Please keep in mind that our cottage is in Downtown Moab. Of course not quite like NYC or Berlin, but be aware that there are nights when there's music coming from nearby establishments. Although a running evaporative cooler or heater will most likely be more noisy than the neighborhood ;) Note: Airbnb does not have evaporative cooling as an option, so it shows as A/C on our amenities. However, we do have window A/C units in each bedroom.

We care about our environment and your health. Our housekeepers use only fragrance-free (where possible), organic or eco-friendly cleaning supplies.

We'd be thrilled if you considered our cottage for your stay in Moab!

A great base in Moab for exploring the area

I like how it is right in downtown Moab, walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Also like the tables and chairs in the front yard and enjoyed sitting out there when it was sunny.

Great place ... very convenient location, comfortable, and cozy.

The location was fantastic and the place was nice and clean. The owners really brought an older, no frills home into the 21st century!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cozy and conveniently located Hayduke’s Hidout.

A great location on a quiet street, and we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go in Moab. Loved the mural on the front of the house and all the fun colors inside. The beds were very comfy.

Great location

Super cute property that is just minutes from downtown Moab. We stayed during the off season and it was very quiet even though it’s close to several businesses. Easy access to several hikes and the host left treats for our pup!!!

Completely comfortable, enjoyable home to relax in.

I loved the fenced yard for my dog to enjoy, location was great, just a block from downtown, everything in the home was cozy and I would definitely recommend your home to others.

Love, love, love this place!

Perfect small house with the large fenced yard. Location on a dead end was awesome. Just a block and a half to the literal.center of town. Beds were super comfy. Swamp cooler kept the place ice cold even though it was 100 degrees out. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Moab!

Cozy and Modern

The house was exactly as shown. The fenced yard was great to sit in - shade most of the day, on a quiet street and comfortable chairs. The kitchen was well-stocked, the bed comfortable. The location close to the bike path and numerous restaurants was perfect! There was a dog park nearby that was great for our dog.It was a bit concerning that we said ahead of time we were bringing a dog, yet when we arrived there was a bill for the stay for the dog. We understood that all costs were paid ahead of time and paid through VRBO.Loved the colors in the kitchen! The fridge was totally unique!

We loved the location, perfectly sized for our small family and we loved sitting by the fireplace.

We loved being downtown, size and fireplace and affordable. It was nice being close to coffee places but would have appreciated a coffee maker instead of a French press. Thanks for the beans!

Moab base camp

The place was clean and tidy. Nice location for walking to downtown activities. This did come with a price of being a bit noisy at night and again in the morning. I would stay there again

Perfect house and location. Loved this placed.

Absolutely loved this place. Awesome location, well appointed, great beds, loved just sitting under the trees. Will be back for sure. The only thing I would change would be to get rid of the TV. One of the reasons we booked this house was the lack of TV as a selling point in the advertising description. It is just a distraction makes it a little harder to disconnect for those who are media junkies.

Perfect stay in a perfectly located guest house

Came to Moab for a wedding. I am the bride's aunt. Parents of the bride and the bride and groom stayed in two of the "three dogs and a moose" just across the street. Welcome dinner a block and a half away, PeRFECT! Town a block and a half the other way. Food carts (good ones) a block in another direction. Stayed four nights, had everything needed right down to the dish drainer in the kitchen.

Fine but missing a few key items

The house is excellently located. There are many great restaurants within walking distance but it tucked away from busy streets. The home is a quaint house and has lots of potential! A few negatives would be: There was a toaster oven but no microwave which was listed on the amenities page. There are no blinds or curtains that provide privacy. Only thin gauzy curtains are set up. A neighbor has good sight line into the home and was outside often. Also the sun through the windows meant no sleeping in. There were ba lot of boxelder bugs in the ehome. e Therewas a wasp nest outside the home which rendered an otherwise a nice yard space unusable.
