We stayed at Loren's house for two nights to visit our daughter and ski at Bolton. The house is easy to get to and close to grocery, restaurants, and highway. It was spacious and we appreciated the large well-stocked kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms with lots of towels, games, smart tvs, and ample off street parking. The house was dog friendly too! The fenced in yard was nice to have.
Beautiful home and very centrally located . It was a 5 min drive from campus. Plenty of space for our family to spread out and Loren was very easy to communicate with!
Loren’s house was the perfect location for our group to use as a place to lay our heads down during production week for our show. We were able to comfortably host our actors and tech team from outside of the greater Burlington area while being conveniently located to the Flynn Theater downtown. Loren was highly responsive and available for any questions we ran into. Highly recommend and would stay here again should the need arise.
We did not have pets but it is pet friendly. The host was very responsive. Home was exactly as pictured in the ad. Very clean. Was a great home base to explore alot of Vermont. 10/10!

Thanks Laura for the review! I hope you had a great visit to VT and you're welcome to stay here again any time.
We had a great time. Loren was very responsive and welcoming. The house is roomy and had all the amenities we needed. Lots of room in the yard for our dog to run around and we enjoyed the walking paths and park within walking distance.

Thanks Heather! You're welcome back any time (and hopefully it won't be as wet and muddy!). I can't believe we got snow today....
About the host
Hosted by Loren Anderson
I'm a professor of astronomy and father of two girls. I live here full time but make it available when I'm traveling. I moved to VT in 2024 from West Virginia and am still getting used to the winters! I love the outdoors and the small-town vibe here.
Why they chose this property
I chose to live here because I liked the quiet of South Burlington and wanted to be close to the schools (I have one 7th grader and one 10th grader). The fenced in yard was a big plus for my dog.
What makes this property unique
The house is ideal for hosting groups that seek convenient access to I-89, UVM, SB shopping, etc., and a quiet residential neighborhood. It's large enough so you're not tripping over each other. The large enclosed backyard is excellent for dogs.
