I can't say enough good things about this home and Carol, the owner. It's clear that she put tremendous thought into the renovation of this Montfort "cottage"...her attention to detail created a lovely home with all the creature comforts. Specifically, the whole place has a bit of a Restoration Hardware meets Pottery Barn kind of vibe. The bathrooms are both huge and very modern. Luxury touches like slate countertops, beautiful tile, double sinks, large mirrors. Bedrooms are also large and beds are super comfy. Plenty of closet space too. The kitchen is very modern, stylish and completely equipped. Location, location, location - you can walk to downtown Asheville in minutes in one direction... or stroll the streets of historic Montfort in the other direction. We've stayed in many rentals - this is one of the nicest ever, by far. And Carol, the owner, is a great communicator and lives nearby - if you have any questions prior to your stay or while you are there, she's very responsive and friendly. Thanks Carol!
