Lovely cozy cabin that had easy access to Bear Valley for XC skiing. We couldn’t get the internet to work, but that was honestly a plus for our weekend getaway.
The cottage was lovely. Clean, cute, and fully equipped. Management of the property seemed to be a group effort. All queries and concerns were addressed by the workers at the Restaurant. The WiFi did not work, but that was okay—we came to get away after all. Overall, it was an interesting and pleasant stay.
Pretty much everything as described in the listing. Although I brought a small tv on the owners advise only to find a nearly exact (Visio) tv already there! The property was just right for a few days “nearly” off the grid with pretty much everting you'd expected in a cabin. We found groceries just a short drive away as well as a wide range of dining. We would definitely stay again if our vacation plans bring us to the Arnold/Bear Valley area again.
The only things keeping me from a 5 star rating were some wifi unreliability and no telephone service (AT&T cell phones don’t have service in Dorrington). The local tavern personnel were happy to help or make a call for us and after a reset of the wifi things went fine for the rest of the stay. Early morning Highway 4 traffic was occasionally loud enough to wake me. So overall we are quite happy and found this rental to be a good value!
Enjoyed the cute cabin with my boyfriend for a weekend getaway. It was very cozy and we loved having coffee on the porch. It was also very nice having a restaurant and bar within walking distance. Very close to Big Trees.
Cute cottage, very clean, excellent communication from manager. Kitchenette good for small meal prep such as lite breakfast, not real cooking. More road noise than we expected, though quiet at night. I’d have appreciated a second nightstand and lamp for reading. Fireplace easy to operate and heater was a champ. Large bathroom with excellent shower. Easy drive to big trees park.
Could not have asked for a better place to ring in the New Year and the next couple days. Perfect location, comfortable bed and a great tub. We have recommended this cabin to all our friends and we will be back.
My husband I stayed here for Memorial Day weekend for our anniversary. Everything was great! Will definitely stay again.

Perfect weekend getaway
We happened to go up on a weekend that a big snowstorm hit. It was magical for us watching the snow fall all around while we were cozy in a cabin for two. We loved our time there and cabin had all the amenities we needed. We brought our own food and cooked every meal. It’s a tiny kitchen only meant for one, with very basic tools, so don’t plan on being fancy. And bring your own spices and a heavy duty cutting knife since there is only table cutlery. There is a bar/eatery right next the hotel that is next to the cabin if you need to go out to eat. It was a perfect weekend for us and we would definitely go again.

Private in a central location
This cottage is nicely appointed, with a very comfortable bed and a roomy, full bathroom. The kitchenette is quite small, but adequate. The location is somewhat noisy, positioned on an intersection with Hwy 4, but it gets soothingly quiet at night and we slept very well and felt rested in the mornings.
The only drawbacks were that the lighting was poor and comfortable chairs would be nice for reading.

Delightful cozy cabin
My husband and I very much enjoyed this cozy cabin with it's nice view of the fields and trees. It was very quiet and private but convenient to the restaurant and bar next to the Dorrington Hotel and Arnold is just a short drive away with other restaurants and a grocery store. Very convenient for skiing in Bear Valley also. The kitchen was small but adequate for preparing our own breakfasts and there is a small table to eat in the main bedroom area. Especially enjoyed the gas fireplace. The jets on the tub do not work however, so don't bother with trying to fill it with water to use as a spa.

Awesome little cabin
We stayed in this little cabin for a night in December. I must say it was even nicer than the pictures show. The road noise is not bad at all and the cabin has everything you need for a weekend away. This is a must stay for us again when the time comes.

Cozy and quaint!
Very charming little cottage that is perfect for one or two people to get away from the city! It has the amenities you would need for a short stay (a couple of days to a week...longer than that and you might get a little claustrophobic). I loved the kitchenette and how efficient it was. The two-person jetted tub was also a favorite!
The only real drawback, and it's not something the owners can do anything about, was the slight street noise. With the windows open, you could hear the larger trucks go by on Highway 4. They seem so out of place in the tranquility of the surrounding forest.
I highly recommend this cabin for a romantic weekend or getaway!
