Enjoy a Forest, peaceful setting with this spacious 2 bedroom/3 bathroom two-story townhome located close to town near the Sierra Star golf course. Forest Creek is a short walk from the main shuttle stop to take you to town or Eagle Lodge, and has the multi-use path running right beside it for easy access. With wood flooring throughout and recent updates, this large floorplan will meet all of your needs. The living room features vaulted ceilings, a large flat screen TV with DVD player, a cozy wood-burning stove and dining area. The open plan kitchen complete with additional bar seating, is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare family meals. Both bedrooms are located on the entry level. The master bedroom features a King bed, private bathroom. The second bedroom features a Queen bed plus additional Twin, private bathroom. The unit has a private stacked washer dryer for your convenience. An additional outdoor deck from the upper living room with BBQ also provides extra space for outdoor dining and grilling. All Mammoth Sierra guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This townhome sleeps a maximum of 5 people and comes with 2 outdoor parking spaces. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. There are 3 steps to this unit, 2 levels inside, and no smoking or pets are permitted. Very nice place, but musty...

We had a great stay for a long weekend. Beds were comfortable and house was pleasant to hang out in. For those with a sensitive nose, you should know that it has a definite musty smell. The hot tub was not functional during our stay, so I can’t comment on it...

Nice Place to Stay

Property is nice and clean. Fairly new and it's well maintained. We like the fact there are 3 bathrooms which makes things much easier with our family of 5. The only thing I will recommend is to have keyless entry or key lockbox on premise instead of having to pick up the keys at the managing office.

Fantastic place for our family vacation

Perfect for families with little ones that want to play in the snow able to go back inside the house. Parking is steps away from the unit. Rooms are located downstairs and large family room kitchen is upstairs. Condo has washer and dryer in it so drying clothes is there if needed! Would definitely stay here again!!

Nice spot, convenient location

We had two adults and three teens with us and the size and layout were perfect. The adults had a master bath and the kids also had a bathroom in their room. Plus one more bath upstairs. Anyone with teens knows that more bathrooms are best😊. We did go to office yo get more towels, as only one per guest doesn’t always cut it when you’re coming back from a snowy day skiing. The staff at the reservations office was great and hooked us up with more towels and firewood. Kitchen had all necessary utensils, dishes, pots. It was a short drive to Eagle Lodge and super close to Vons for groceries. Easy parking and the plows came early after the storm. All in all a good location and value for Mammoth!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place for family to stay. It's conveniently located and easy to park near the property. They have games for the family in the cabinet under the TV. It was fine for us, but important to note- the property doesn't have the TV logged into any services, but it wasn't a problem for us. Both bedrooms have attached bathrooms. We stayed during winter and arrived late at night and the the place was extremely cold and took most of the night to warm up from the set temperature of 55 degrees. Kitchen is spacious , but cookware is very worn and scratched and should be replaced. We would book this place again, but bring our own cookware, if it hasn't been replaced yet.

Reviewer Comments: Everything was “adequate” but not bright and cheery as shown. Very hot in the upstairs, especially without the ceiling fan working. No access for streaming, however, internet was good.Patios were really not usable or desirable. It was just ok.

For the money it was okay. Amenities were not great for cooking at home, waste basket in top floor was a small plant vase, barely bigger than large coffee mug? Wtf? Master was decent, unusable lower balcony. Great internet, table and couch look great in pictures but very tight and a little hard to fit adults without moving couch around. Mostly newer, upgraded decor, appliances and kitchen, just need better kitchen utensils. Master bed felt really soft and old, second bedroom had nice firm queen and decent twin shoved together. For the money it was not bad, could be better.

Reviewer Comments: Rental was clean, well-appointed and in good location.The lack of a screen for the patio door was a problem given the poor overall upstairs ventilation, and the current mosquito situation. There was a upstairs fan but no controller or switch could be identified. Lighting could have been better as several lights were out or intermittent. Rental would have been great in winter, but for summer was not ideal due to ventilation limitations.

Disappointing Stay

All look well from initial tour, then experienced multiple issues with unit. Lack of air circulation in 2nd level (uncomfortable heat and ceiling fan not working). Opened sliding glass doors to get circulation (no screen doors allowed insects entry). Several in party did not come upstairs due to the heat issues. Some of the ceiling lights were flickering on and off periodically, which was a nuisance. In the guest bedroom the shower doors went off track and locked (reported and fixed). The single bed collapsed when initially sat on (reported and fix).Overall, not worth the rental price due to all the inconvenience and issues.I feel I should have been given some type of compensation or credit for what we experienced during this stay. I may not be doing business with Mammoth Reservations based on what they charged for a subpar unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This townhouse is in a quiet area near the golf course and was a great stay for a family of four. It has two bedrooms with ensuites downstairs, as well as a hallway with space for boots and coats. Upstairs is a large living room, kitchen, and another bathroom. TV and wifi worked well. Yes, the jacuzzi is real, and is in a kind of glassed-in balcony. All the rooms were warm and cozy, warmer still once we had the stove going (plenty of firewood provided, although the provided firelighters didn’t work well.) The house is clean and tidy and not cluttered, although some of the furniture and the stair carpets are starting to look worn. After hours key pick up was easy, and the staff in the office were very nice when we dropped off the keys. I’ll use Mammoth Sierra again, and would stay here again.

The bathrooms and the appliances need to be updated. It’s hard to control the temperature in the house, it’s either freezing or too hot. The enclosed patio with the hot tub smells unbearably of chlorine. Other than that, great location. The beds are really comfortable.

Reviewer Comments: This unit contains appliances that were manufactured in the early 1980s. The dishwasher and range are both in bad need of replacement. The carpet is nasty. All fixtures are in need of replacement. At this price one would expect much better. Also, there is no cable tv. They don't tell you that either. Again at this rate, cable tv should be provided. We will not return here.

Thank you for helping me enjoy a nice vacation with my family. The unit was clean and convenient. I liked the nicely folded towels, the large quantity of towels. The Master bed was very comfortable and had great linens. The pull out couch was less comfy but was OK after putting mattress on the floor. I wasn't sure where the sheets for that bed were located. there were a lot of utensils for us to use for cooking. I also likes the oil soaked fire starter sticks to help light the fire. Great idea. Only suggestions: Use a label maker to label a few light switches. Post jacuzzi operating instructions on the wall of jacuzzi area. Otherwise great set up!!!!

Place is extremely warm, even at low heat. Hot tub takes about two hours to heat up. Place was clean and close to Vons and other cool things for the kids to do.
