Family Getaway
We had a wonderful stay in this cozy family-owned cabin. The pictures do not do justice to the gorgeous views. If you’re looking to get away from the daily “hustle and bustle” while keeping the comforts of home, then this place is just what you need. It’s conveniently located near Helen while many other opportunities for adventure await nearby. Alan and his wife Sheelyn are terrific hosts & kept me well informed from the time we booked almost a year in advance until the time we left. They also provided a wealth of information on the area. I genuinely look forward to coming back next winter.

Thanksgiving Getaway
We had a wonderful time spending Thanksgiving weekend at Soaring Hawk. The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated, and the views were amazing. It was great to be able to warm up in the hot tub even on cold days. Private access to hike up Yonah Mountain was an awesome perk. (It’s a rough hike, but worth the gorgeous views). The cabin had plenty of room for the five of us, and we had lots of options to keep warm with 2 fire pits, and gas logs. Also, it’s close to plenty of great local restaurants as well as downtown Helen. I don’t think there is anything we were missing, and we’re already talking about coming back next year. I couldn’t recommend this cabin highly enough!
