About this property

Coastal Haven on LBI in ship bottom

Family oriented, newly renovated home that has 3 units. Located on a quiet bay-side street with easy access from the Causeway. Me and my husband live in the main part of the house. This unit sleeps 6, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath with private backyard, patio, BBQ, outdoor shower, and shared laundry. Another space available on property that sleeps 4 if you are traveling with another family. Must be 25 or older to rent the space. Pets are not allowed.

We are located in Ship Bottom, 6 houses from the Bay and 2 blocks from the Ocean. In walking distance we have plenty of restaurants, mini-golf, arcade, ice cream shops, toy shops and rentals for bikes, kayaks, paddle-boarding.

LBI Shuttle runs up and down the Island. We have easy access on and off the Island; only 10 blocks from the Causeway.

This space is located in the back of the house. It is on street parking. There is a private walk down the side of house which leads you into your private backyard with patio and stairs leading to the apartment. It includes Beach badges, a private outdoor shower, bbq, and common laundry area in ground level. We provide pillows and blankets. Please bring sheets and towels. Please bring toiletries and essentials, such as garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, etc.

There is key-less entry, therefore, you can check in and out on your own.

The home is centrally located to the beach, restaurants, and anything else you’d need for your stay. The hosts are so nice and available if you need anything. The home is newly renovated and beautifully decorated. I stayed the weekend with 3 other adults and 1 child, and it was a perfect size for all of us. Will absolutely be back!

Beautiful 2 BR apartment in Ship Bottom

The apartment was exactly as advertised-beautiful, clean and convenient location to beach and other attractions in Ship Bottom. The apartment is part of a family home with a separate entrance allowing for privacy. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and a grill and outside shower are available in a private outdoor area. I would stay again in the future.

Wedding Weekend

The host was very easy to communicate with. The home is greatly located about 10 blocks from the bridge, and a quick walk to beautiful bay views. Coming in late September, there was plenty of street parking available. Definitely a good deal for families with a few beds for any kids you’re bringing along.

Best trip Short family stay

I accidentally went into the owners living quarters upon arrival since I assumed we were downstairs. Peter thought it was funny and didn’t make me feel silly at all. He led my family upstairs to a beautiful, clean space. It was fabulous. I hope we get the opportunity to stay here every year. (Especially now that I know where to go first)

Great place and very close to a lot. Was a little disappointed with the communication about left behind items which were certainly left behind. Possibly the cleaners issue when cleaning but still a little upset.

Very clean and very friendly hosts! Overall a great experience! The only thing I could recommend for improvement is that it be very clear somewhere that sheets/towels/pillows are not provided. I looked over very carefully all of the details of the stay and it did not say anywhere that we needed to bring these items with us. That being said, when we got there and told the host we didn’t bring anything, they did have spare sheets and blankets that they provided thank goodness. So very thankful for that! Other than that it was a great experience and would highly recommend! Just make sure you bring sheets/blankets/towels/pillows with you!

House looks brand new, yard is well kept. Peter and Janet are very helpful and friendly while giving us our privacy. Our unit was spacious and the layout was perfect. We plan on renting again from them!

The owner was terrific

The owner, Mr. Peter B. was great. We arrived very late at around 10pm for the first night but there were a lot of flooding that evening throughout LBI. We could not find the house due to some street closures. We called Peter and he came out to meet us and lead us to the house using some back ways. He was very helpful, nice and kind. His house was not on a flooded street. The place was as described on the listing. My kids wanted to go to the same place the next time we are at LBI.
