We had a wonderful stay. There were several kayaks and a canoe that we loved. The pond was beautiful to look at. My son loved fishing on the dock. Danielle was very helpful.

When we went for a girls trip, we were super disappointed here. The host made sure that I knew it was camp style. No frills super basic somewhat rustic right? . I did not expect a filthy house with a septic problem. The odor of septic made me and my friends super grossed out. The beds were soiled. Everything was just unclean. Pretty scenery of lake.

I really do apologize for this. I did speak to the cleaning company and they were unaware of the mess. I’m not sure what happened and I did refund you the cleaning fee. So sorry for any inconvenience.

Overall, the place was clean, and check-in was quick and easy. That said, there's room for improvement in a few areas:- Supplies: More kitchen basics would help — we only had two coffee cups, one teaspoon, and a single roll of toilet paper on hand.- Cleanliness outside: There was a cup of water with cigarette butts left on the steps that needed to be cleared away.- Side building: The small side building could work as extra sleeping space, but a bait fish tank with dead fish inside was left in the room, and the smell was unpleasant.- Maintenance: The bathroom faucet was loose, and there were a few other areas with incomplete or mismatched construction work that could use attention. Plus the railing outside was roped together but still loose.- A window air conditioning unit in the main area was available, but there were none in the bedrooms.- The basement bedroom heard every flush of the toilet like a hurricane was coming through. With a bit of upkeep and some extra supplies, this house could be a much better place to stay.

This cabin was a wonderful place for our family to stay. It was a great central location for day trips to nearby cities (Boston, Providence) and Old Sturbridge Village. Plus the lake provided fun cabin days with a great place to swim, kayak, and watch the sunset.
