Great property with plenty of room in quiet neighborhood. Our hostess was great with communication and her "staff" went out of their way to catch up to us with something I forgot. Totally enjoyed the coffee bar. Thank you for a great stay!

We were there for a weekend to see the EBT and Rockhill Trolley Museum, which was of walking distance from the house. The house was comfy and perfect for our crew! Kitchen was cute and they had a stocked coffee bar! Not sure if they had some toys out because we told her we had a toddler with us or if they are always there but that was a nice surprise! Also, our little one had the best time looking for the hidden cartoon mice. All in all a very pleasant stay and we will be back!
Little hidden mice throughout the house! Our little one had fun seeking them out!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re so glad your crew enjoyed the house, the coffee bar, and all the little touches for your toddler. Hearing that your little one had fun finding the hidden cartoon mice is very cool, those little mice make me smile and I’m glad you enjoyed them as well We’d love to host you again the next time you visit the EBT and Rockhill Trolley Museum

Another pleasant stay at the Railroad House (our second). They have a nice arrangement of coffee to start your morning, and the front porch is a great place to enjoy your coffee. The East Broad Top Railroad is just down the street from the house, very easy to get to. The kitchen is well stocked, and the home has about everything you'll need for your stay. The firepit out back is a great place to finish out the day. Lots of stars in the sky. The home is comfortable, and convenient to south central PA and the surrounding area. We have been doing a lot of exploring of the area and this home is our home base. Raystown Lake isn't far away either. Very pleasant place to stay. Homeowner is very responsive and easy to communicate with.

It truly means a lot to welcome returning guests, and we’re so glad the Railroad House continues to feel like your home base while exploring the area. We’re happy you enjoyed the coffee, front porch, firepit, and all the little touches that make your stay comfortable. We sincerely appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back for a third visit in the future. Safe travels until then!

Very comfortable stay. The house has been renovated inside, modern lighting, rooms were nicely done, bathrooms were nice, kitchen has everything you would need and then some (I always bring hot sauce along, for my eggs in the morning, but this home not only had hot sauce, but 4 different choices, that was awesome). Coffee station was well supplied, and with good coffee. Firepit out back was well supplied, and there are tools for making smores. Very nice place. Just a few minutes walks to the East Broad Top Railroad (you can see, and hear, the engine prepping in the morning, that was pretty cool). Nice porch out front as well. Real nice place to stay.
