Welcome to your home away from home! This one story house is perfect for a family vacation, romantic getaway, a girls weekend or a comfortable home on a business trip. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, open kitchen that looks out onto the pool in the spacious fenced in backyard. The 3 bedrooms all have 1 Queen bed each, all with seasonally appropriate bedding.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you could need for cooking a feast or nibbling on a charcuterie board in the private backyard. There is a Weber grill in the back with the cooking implements if you desire to have a cookout! The walls are filled with eclectic art and the house is artful and colorful. There is wifi and Apple TV in the living area and the main bedroom. Hardwood floors in the bedrooms with area rugs and travertine in the rest of the house.
There is an outside area that has an upstairs and downstairs and is just used for storage and a design studio. No one lives there and it is not part of the rental.
Austin is such a vibrant, fun city; from the up and coming dining, to funky cafes, to intimate coffee houses and hole-in-the-wall bars, it has quickly grown into one of the most popular vacation spots in the country. Just a hop and skip from Zilker Park, buzzing South Congress Avenue, bat viewing on Congress Bridge, and Lady Bird Lake trail, we want your stay to be as fun and comfortable as possible. We hope this house will be your home away from home!

Great stay!

We came to Austin for a weekend bachelorette party. There were 7 of us (mostly in our 40s). The place was very clean, the outdoor area was beautiful, and there was plenty of room for all of us. I would definitely recommend this place.

Perfect Austin Retreat

We loved staying at this property! Everything was just wonderful. It was perfect for our family but I’d also book this for a girl’s get away weekend. It’s perfectly located If you want to go out but awesome for staying in and drinking wine or Margaritas by the pool. You really can’t go wrong here no matter what your plans are while in Austin!

Amazing Week In Austin

My family spent a week in Austin visiting with friends. Trish's house was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy the city. My kids spent hours in the pool and we loved the open flow of the home.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful visit in this beautiful home and our thanks to Trish for sharing her home with us .. The accommodation really suited our family and the pool was a huge asset. It was in an ideal location and we were able to explore all the different amenities nearby such as Barton Creek . We also explored Austin itself and did the Austin Duck Tour which I would recommend. I would highly recommend this property

Family trip

Our family of 7, from grandparents to toddlers, traveled to Austin as a central location. The house is lovely and very well located, accessible to parks and town. It was fully and generously equipped. We enthusiastically recommend it.

Why they chose this property

This house is definitely unique and might not be for everyone! I have eclectic taste and love to decorate with found objects, treasures from thrift stores and heirloom pieces from both my grandmother's and mother's estates.
I move things around, and in and out. Sometimes I sell things, sometimes they go to a girlfriend who thinks she's going to die without it.
The front entry is jewel box pink which makes me happy and I hope it makes you happy too. Paint is such a fast, cheap way to change a space; next week it could be Navy Blue. I had a moment where I fancied myself a minimalist, but it went out the door when I found some fabulous objec d'art that was bright and fun and I realized that I loved color and couldn't live without it! I do have some artsy pictures and books of naked women; if that doesn't work for you, I can move them outside to my studio so they are not in the living spaces.
Many fun things have happened in this house and every time I walk in, I hear the laughter of all the great get togethers and friends that have gathered here. I hope that you get to feel that and want to stay!

What makes this property unique

Great family-oriented neighborhood. Westwood is great for walking and checking out the houses and meeting friendly people. There are lots of trees and it's quiet. The area has a lake nearby with a great walking trail. Lady Bird Lake is one of our crown jewels in town and you are minutes away. You can rent a SUP board, a canoe or just put your tennies on and walk the trail. There are coffee shops along the way to sit and people watch and enjoy the scenery. This neighborhood is in the middle of it all!
