Great location. Everything was wonderful except for noisy neighbors upstairs. Understand neighbors are moving but would have liked to know about noise prior to booking. Host was super. Without the noise this would be a solid 10 rating.

Debbie, we hope to host you again next time. The upstairs neighbors currently have a very active toddler and a dog that can be nervous around strangers, but they’ll be moving out next month. The new neighbors moving in should not have the same issue.
In general the unit is very nice. I will say if you are looking for some place quiet this may not be the spot. The neighbors upstairs have a pretty loud dog and a kid that runs around. The walls are thin so at times it sounded like the dog was in our apartment and the chills running around was enough to where the lights shake

We’re disappointed by this review. The upstairs neighbors are friendly and respectful, and we have not received similar concerns from other guests. The guest made multiple requests for additional discounts, which we were unable to accommodate, and we feel this feedback may not accurately reflect their overall experience.

Why they chose this property
Oak Park pulses with creativity at every turn. It's a place where architecture isn’t just built—it’s lived, through the visionary works of Frank Lloyd Wright and preserved historic districts that transport you through time. It's the birthplace of literary greatness, with Ernest Hemingway’s childhood home inviting us into the origins of his timeless narratives. It's a community where the arts flourish in every gallery, concert hall, and local festival, from OPAL’s vibrant exhibitions to rich orchestral performances. And amid all this, you can always treat yourself to a truly indulgent scoop at Petersen’s. Oak Park isn’t just a suburb—it’s a celebration of artistry, history, and culture in the heart of the Midwest.
