We loved this rustic cabin in the mountains. It had everything we needed. The host was so kind and made sure we lacked nothing. It is also convenient to many area attractions as well as beautiful scenery. We are so glad we stayed here.
We were in town for a wedding at Frannies Farm. The house was lovely and Marie was very helpful and accommodating as we needed early checkin due to wedding prep. Wonderful !
This cabin was perfect for my wife and I. We wanted a secluded place for us to relax after a couple of days of visiting the Biltmore Estate. Marie was very friendly and had everything that you could imagine stocked in the cabin. It was very clean and had plenty of hot water. We will definitely stay here again if in the area

Relaxing weekend get away
Our weekend was amazing and just what we needed being parents of 3 small children - the prefect place to unwind and get away from everything!! We missed our kids and the poor cell phone service with no way to call in was a disadvantage in case of emergencies - but all in all it was great and we plan to go back!

Thank you for the review! I am glad you enjoyed your time at 'Star Haven Lodging.' The weekend went by so quickly.
Cell phone service works great for some cell phones and others are not able to pick up a signal. However, we do
provide a land line so if your cell phone does not pick up,
you will have a way to call your loved ones and friends.
We hope to see you back real soon! Have a nice summer!

What a wonderful stay at the little cabin! Quiet and secluded for perfect coffee and breakfast on the porch. Kitchen has everything you will need to cook in and you’re close enough to Asheville to head into town. Marie is a wonderful host and Princess on the porch to meet us when we checked in was a great touch. Highly recommend this cabin. The updates with AC and washer and dryer are great.

My best friend and I celebrated our birthdays at this lovely cabin. Marie is wonderful and very accommodating, and her Border Collies were a great addition with their occasional visits (bring doggie cookies!) The hummingbirds we’re a joy to watch, it is such a peaceful place and nice getaway.
Very nice little cabin, perfect for our needs. We were visiting with our daughter. Kitchen well-stocked with everything needed. The fresh eggs were so appreciated! Marie was a wonderful hostess.
What a spectacular experience! Such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The cabin has everything you need and want and Ms Marie was an excellent host. She was very responsive to messages and so kind. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful place.

About the host
Hosted by Marie M. Hall
I was born in Texas then moved to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. During this time, my father, a Vietnam veteran, was serving in the Army’s Special Forces. I grew up in Buncombe County where the family home had been established in the late 1800s. I have lived in North Dakota, California, Idaho, Washington State and Australia. As a missionary nurse, I have traveled to Peru, Guatemala, Indonesia, and Australia. I have three border collies-PRINCESS Kenai, Queenie and Healy, Coxie-the rooster and his nine hens, and some minx cats that enjoy my family farm with me.
Why they chose this property
This is a family inheritance which I am privileged to own. I want you to share with me in this experience of beauty and solitude. No city lights, just God's heavenly stars. A bird watchers sanctuary and great hiking.
What makes this property unique
Completely private, peaceful, relaxing experience. Claw footed tub (Hillbilly Hot Tub) on front porch with modern amenities. A bubbling mountain brook flows continuously beside the unique cabin.
