This 4 bedroom home has all the amenities; gas fireplace, custom kitchen, large enclosed porch overlooking the lake with a sandy beach just outside. On the property there is a fire pit, horseshoe court, boat dock, boat ramp, as well as the sandy beach.

The house comes fully furnished with all the amenities you would expect; washer/dryer, central air, central vac, dishwasher, microwave, ice maker and water dispenser, and much more.
It is just over a one mile walk to downtown meredith with all its shops and restaurants. 5 & 1/2 miles to weirs beach, 4 miles to funspot; 14.3 miles to gunstock mtn.

Friends’ Get Away

Beautiful property on beautiful Wakuwan Lake in Meredith! We enjoyed the outdoor space and the beach! The location was convenient to downtown Meredith and the restaurants. The house was big and it could accommodate a lot of guests with the number of beds available. We enjoyed our stay!

Property was in a great location. We enjoyed the lake access and the house very much. Small miscommunication between Two of the owners on renting the kayak however it was solved immediately.

Laconia Bike Week

The house was amazing. Plenty of parking for our motorcycles and personal vehicles and trailers. View was beautiful. Loved waking up with a coffee and the lake. Hoping to find this house available on future trips.

Beautiful spot

Stayed while in town for a wedding. Beautiful place with plenty of space inside and outside. Little beach for swimming and ping pong table we’re perfect for family fun. Close to town, restaurants, and Funtown arcade. The only challenge was bringing linens for all the beds and didn’t think to bring hand towels too.

Just What We Needed

House was perfect for our needs for a quick 3 family ski trip to Gunstock - separate rooms for adults and “dorm” with multiple beds for the teens in the fourth bedroom. House had everything we needed for breakfast and apres ski dinner and games. Kids were able to easily set up their gaming system on the main TV. Hosts were extremely responsive and friendly. Thank you!

Nice house

The house is great, we really enjoyed our Labor Day weekend there. We had a group of 9 adults, there was enough space for everyone, and we had everything we needed. The best part was the lake, it’s beautiful with warm and clear water. Although beware that the beach is not private as it appears in the pictures, it’s like a complex of 5 or 6 houses and the beach is shared. That didn’t bother us though. The biggest disappointment for us was that we couldn’t use kayaks/canoes that come with the house. Apparently the owners had some issues with insurance and now they don’t allow using them. I wish we knew this ahead of time so we could bring some of our own. Overall we had a great time and would love to come back.

Meridith Lake House

Nicely appointed house with plenty of beds/bathrooms and a beautiful lake. Nice lakehouse, but it is part of a group of rentals with shared beach, water access, and firepit, not a stand alone property. Caretaker was not friendly or helpful, but otherwise a great weekend on the lake.

This house was terrific. The house was lovely, comfortable and very well equipped. The outdoor space was wonderful, close to the sandy beach with grassy areas as well. Great views. Toys for children. Outside tables. Close to town but quiet and feeling secluded. The best of all worlds.

Just what our family needed…

This property is perfect. Comfortable stay with a beautiful lake and private beach. My parents in their seventies and daughter (5) and nephew (7), all loved the shallow walk-in beach area. Plenty of shade in different parts of the beach throughout the day. Ample rooms to spread out and a great sunroom to relax in through the day. Kitchen has everything you would need. The perfect place for my family, split across the country, to finally come together for the first time in a year. Thank you to our hosts!!!!!

Getting scammed

Property was trashed when arrived. Picked up chairs,grill grates,beer bottles,and trash. Owner says we broke a bathroom doors hardware and door jam. Door was working fine and not damaged when we left. From the pictures he sent me it looks like he has had problems with the door before. Multiple screw holes etc. What do we do from here. Does the owner have a history of claims against people?

Brian, my wife and I were the first persons to enter the house after your group left. The cleaning people had not even been there yet. I sent you the pictures. It is impossible that you could leave the house and not know about the severe damage to the door jamb. It is clear that someone got locked out and busted in to get it open. The shame of it is that it is a privacy lock. Any pin, small nail, thin coathanger, could have been used to push into the small hole in the door knob, and the door lock would have popped open.

Rented for a girls weekend with sisters, daughters and nieces. The house was clean and there was plenty of room for the 10 of us. The property and view were amazing and so relaxing! Close to restaurants, shopping and antiquing. Would definitely considering renting again.

Great place to stay!

There were 6 of us in this house, but easily room for about 4-5 more people. It was a comfortable place, clean and in a great location. It is right on the lake and has a private beach, which would be great in the summer (we were there in Nov). It's about a 5 minute drive to downtown Meredith. The only suggestion I have is to communicate clear check-in and check-out instructions. These were not included in the email from the owner when he reached out about our upcoming stay, but I did reach out in an email and he responded very quickly.
