Sea Salt Cottage - Beach front neighborhood, next to downtown restaurants

Located right in the heart of Isle of Palms, this home offers three full bedrooms and two full baths. The home was recently updated and is beautifully decorated with updated furniture and decor from our favorite places, giving you a cozy beach cottage. Great home to create everlasting memories in.

This home is perfect for any family or group of friends. This quiet neighborhood has a pool and tennis court access. Locally bikes or golf carts are available for rent to ride up and down the beautiful beaches or streets of Isle of Palms. The main living space is perfect for a gathering and playing games or just relaxing with the TV. The back deck offers the sounds of the waves and it's great for gathering with friends or a good book. The home provides beach chairs as well as a few beach buckets for building sandcastles, beach games and a wagon to haul all your gear on the short walk to the beach. Outside the home there is an outdoor showers so the sand doesn't have to come in with you.

Bedrooms: Three furnished bedrooms have memory foam mattress, perfect for an easy nights sleep. Each are painted with coastal colors to bring the beach to you. Each room has plenty of closet space. Linens are provided as well as extra pillows, making your night easy and peaceful for a good nights rest.

Bathrooms:Two updated bathrooms, with the master bath featuring a beautiful walk in shower with a rainfall shower head plus a standard shower head. Master has dual sinks and plenty big for two people. The guest bathroom is perfect with a tub/shower combination. Guest bathroom has one sink and plenty of space. Towels are provided for guests.

Kitchen and dining: Kitchen includes full fridge plus a beverage fridge for added space. You'll find fully stocked kitchen with pots and pans, plates and dishes. Home has a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender, air fryer, and mixer. The breakfast nook holds seating for four and the counter-top island offers seating for four as well. Charcoal Grill provided as well.

Location: 12 Ocean Park Court, Isle of Palms, SC, 29451. Located just a 20 minute drive from historic Charleston or a 10 minute drive to Sullivan's Island, there are countless of sites to see, places to shop, and amazing dining. In the home you will find our local favorites whether you are staying on Isle of Palms or venturing to the local area.

Beach Vacation

My husband and I took our family for the first time to Isle of Palms and we couldn't have been happier with the house and location! A very easy, quick 5 minute walk to the beach, you don't even need to rent bikes! Everything was provided at the house -- coolers, beach chairs & towels, it was perfect. My husband and I are the type of people that like to try new vacations and different Airbnbs, but this is the first time that we want to rebook the same beach house!

Great for families with young kids

It’s rare to say that the property was even nicer than the photos but that was true with the Sea Salt Cottage. The place was great for a multi family trip, two families both with small kids. We had plenty of space, the beds were so comfortable and so many extra touches were provided. The location was more walkable than I expected and being able to walk to the beach with beach gear provided was so helpful. It was also still very easy to get to downtown Charleston. Would gladly book this place again!

Spring Break 2023

Our family stayed for 6 nights for our daughter’s spring break. Property was fabulous. Enjoyed the open floor plan and wonderful screened in porch and back deck. Close to Harris Teeter for groceries, shops, restaurants and very short walk to beach. We loved being able to play tennis and bike. Darrin was easy to communicate with and made sure all our needs were met. House is in great shape with everything being updated. We enjoyed the rock floor in the master shower. We would definitely stay here again.

Great IOP Vacation Home

We visited for a long weekend with family. We are frequent flyer renters in IOP so have had a lot of experience renting here. The home was very clean and put together and it was very helpful that the description included appliances (coffee maker Kuerig or regular, blender, etc.) to help us prepare for what we needed to bring. The owner thought of everything! Beach chairs, wagon, beach toys for kids etc. Darrin was super communicative and very helpful every step of the way. We cannot say enough good things about it overall. Walkable to IOP downtown on beach and easy beach access in neighborhood. Pool and tennis courts a plus.

Perfect beachy cottage

For our family vacation, this cottage was so perfect. We appreciated the well appointed kitchen and baths, as well as the beach equipment extras. The location in central IOP couldn't be more convenient to restaurants and shops. Oh, and the beach is less than a 5 minute walk!

This house is absolutely adorable, sparkling clean and brand new inside. The kitchen was well stocked, tvs had streaming services, all rooms are tastefully decorated, washer/dryer. It’s a short walk to the beach and around the corner from groceries etc. I hope to return again soon.

Great Property

This house is gorgeous and kept in great shape. There are many great small touches like beach chairs, towels, hand soap and basic cooking ingredients that a lot of houses we have rented in the past do not have. Mornings on the screened in porch and evening on the back porch are heaven. Highly recommended! Darrin was also very responsive to any inquiries.

I live in Pittsburgh and fell in love with the Charleston area years ago. I have been wanting to own a home in this neighborhood for years. Great location, walking distance to everything. When we fly into CHS we uber/lyft to the beach for $35 and walk from there.

Why they chose this property

This house will have everything you need for your time away. Neighborhood has two beach accesses, one public and one private, a swimming pool, tennis courts, and walking path towards the Isle of Palms downtown. The house is stocked with linens, dishes, laundry, and appliances for what you would need, including an outdoor shower. Come and make yourself at home at this Sea Side Cottage.
