Located in East Hazel Crest, just a 1-minute drive from the I-80 Expressway, this delightful 1-bedroom apartment offers a cozy and peaceful retreat — ideal for traveling professionals or guests planning an extended stay.

The bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, while the living room provides additional sleeping options:
• The yellow chair converts into a twin-size bed
• The blue sofa converts into a queen-size bed

Enjoy all the comforts of home, including heating, air conditioning, an iron, a hairdryer, and plenty of privacy and tranquility throughout your stay. Free Washer and dryer on premises for true convenience.

Step out onto the inviting porch, where you can relax, unwind, and maybe even spot a friendly deer or two passing by.

Deliveries welcome: Packages (like Amazon) and food deliveries (like DoorDash) are absolutely fine — just direct them to the apartment.

We’re always happy to help — feel free to reach out anytime during your stay for local recommendations or assistance.

Parking: One vehicle is included with your stay. Additional vehicles may be parked for $15 per day, per vehicle, payable immediately after booking. Please pull all the way to the end of the driveway, keeping your tires on the gravel (not the grass).

Please note: The apartment comfortably accommodates 2 adults and 2 children. The base rate includes one guest; a $35 per night fee applies for each additional guest. The property has 3 exterior common area cameras for added safety and protection. 1 camera in laundry room.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:

Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

- Vacuum rugs in the living room, bedroom, hallway and also the sofa and yellow chair. - Power off TVs, and lights; turn off stove/oven; put iron/ironing board in the closet near the entry door.

- Gather bed linens and used towels place them in the hamper, which should be taken to the bathroom. - Wash all dirty dishes. - Excessive mess, dirty,broken/missing items will be charged accordingly.

- Remove trash bags from the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and put them in the green waste bin outside. - Lock the entry door on your way out. Have a safe trip home! Jose & Tonja

Our first stay with this property was smooth, which made the experience that followed even more disappointing. When we attempted to book again, the host declined to honor the confirmed price and ultimately cancelled our reservation, providing a reason that was simply not true. Vrbo reviewed the situation, confirmed that his actions violated their policies, and quickly helped us secure a new place within our budget — their support was excellent.Regarding the property itself: for a price point exceeding 3,000, the space is surprisingly small. There are also numerous exterior cameras, which created an uncomfortable sense of being monitored at all times. The host repeatedly messaged us about “parking on the grass,” though there was none to be found — winter tends to take care of that.In short, while Vrbo handled the issue professionally, this particular host did not. I would not recommend booking with this host unless you enjoy being watched, corrected, and charged premium prices for minimal space.

We appreciate that you acknowledged your stay with us was smooth. This reflects how we operate when house rules and Vrbo policies are followed. To clarify, Vrbo never stated that we violated any policy. The cancellation of your second reservation was based on several documented concerns, including communication inconsistencies and violations of our house rules. You only had an issue as described in your review with the second booking request that we declined. To correct a few key points: • The size of the property is clearly listed. • Security cameras are fully disclosed in the listing and are exterior only. • Your reservation was for two people, yet a third individual who was not disclosed in advance was there as well. • Your group brought two large pickup trucks and later a third vehicle, which were repeatedly parked on the grass. We politely explained that the lawn is professionally treated and that parking on the grass causes damage. This guidance was ignored. • We documented multiple damages and excessive cleaning needs, including 2 stained area rugs, 1 with with burn marks, damaged hardware, along with additional items that required replacement. There is photo evidence. • Our security footage captured inappropriate language and taunting after a polite parking reminder. We aim to provide a clean, safe, and respectful environment. In return, we expect house rules, occupancy limits, proper communication, and property care to be respected.
