Tangerine Villa offers 7 bedrooms with 7 bathrooms. This villa is designed with a rustic, globally influenced design, with comfort and an exotic island "feel". It exudes unique informal elegance that will captivate our guests with its charm, serenity and relaxed Caribbean atmosphere.

Tangerine Villa consists of indoor and outdoor rooms that offer indescribable views of the Caribbean and the mountains around. Living room, a huge Veranda for dining with table that can seat 20+ people, Pavilion, large private pool with 3 poolside terraces. There is also the exciting Garden Gallery Lounge, surrounded with tropical trees and flora. Tropical hillside gardens, with a multitude of varietal fruit trees for guest enjoyment .... All with spectacular, panoramic views!

Accommodations: 7 bedrooms: All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, except 5 and 6 which are smaller and share a bathroom in the middle. All bedrooms have a king (or two twins if preferred) except bedroom 4 which has two full beds, and 5 and 6 that have one full size bed in each. All bedrooms have air conditioning and fans.

We can send floor plans for you once ready to plan. This villa can accommodate large
groups, family style. This property is part of a large Jaquar Villas property and there are 4 units in all, each of them can be booked through homeaway site. The sister units are: Palashia Villa, Bambu Cottage and Zen Suite. We have extra beds in storage and beds can be added to the larger bedrooms as requested.

If one group rents both Tangerine and Palashia Villas for a large group, then all may dine together at the large dining space at Palashia Villa.

Tangerine Villa is located in one of the most dramatically scenic villa locations in all of Jamaica: few acres of lush, tropical plantation high on the hill, offering mesmerizing views, both day and night. It feels as though you are far away; private and tropical, yet you can walk to the main road and captivating, sandy beach.

Special for the yoga groups, The Zen Pavilion, offers a huge space, nestled within the tropical gardens. It is also ideal for any other activity, games and as an extra space for corporate groups.

The staff is well trained and the chefs are excellent. We have menus to help you plan or devise your own specific culinary experiences. You choose which wonderful meals you would like our chefs to prepare for you and your fellow guests, daily. You may try Jamaican specialties or you may have your own choices, completely up to you.

The delight of having the staff at your call is unlimited. You can have a lovely picnic packed and prepared for you to go. Or you may wish to have a special barbque planned and catered for.

Wake up to a steaming cup of Jamaican coffee served on the verandah, followed by full breakfast served when all guests are ready. For lunches and dinners the cooks will prepare individual meals for children at times requested. Majestic sunsets enjoyed most nights at dinner time. The tables are always set with personal care and attention to detail, so that each dining experience is a feast and memorable occasion!

The grocery shopping can be handled by the cook. Guests may go groceries shopping with or without the cook if they like. The cook can pre stock for the first few meals as per the guest’s prior to arrival request. The cost of food is the responsibility of the guests. Plan to pay for groceries and gratuities in cash. Alternatively and for your convenience, you may pay using credit cards in local supermarkets. However cash will be required for small vendors of fruit and vegetables and fresh fish.

Available on request are babysitters, massage therapists, personal workout trainers, manicurist, hair stylist and or live entertainment . All of these services are offered in the privacy of the villa.

We have a private driver with large vehicles (minibuses) and offers rare-to-be-found discounted rates to our guests. Child seats available.

As a guest of this villa, you will have access to the private membership beach. Our beautiful glistening white sandy beach is stroll down the hill from the villa along villas and gold course.

Electricity is the same as US, no converters necessary for US appliances.

Complimentary high speed wireless internet access provided.

Villa is child friendly with some child furnishings available upon request.

Local entertainment: Just a couple of minutes walk down the hill is The Cardiff, a small boutique hotel which features lovely restaurant dining and bar with live music on occasion. There are numerous all inclusive resorts along the beach, where you can join the fun for small fee - all inclusive for the day or night. There are a multitude of small local drink bars, a popular "jerk" center, a beach bar and restaurant nearby. Ocho Rios, a bustling and thriving town with lots of bars, restaurants, night clubs and numerous
famous attractions, is only 15 minutes away.

Local scuba diving (certification can be completed at the villa pool), fishing (for dinner!), snorkeling and a great fun seafood restaurant are just a short jaunt down the road from the villa. Popular local activity is riding and swimming with the horses! A great championship golf course minutes down the hill.

NOTE: SHORT STAY RATE : The regular rate is for 7 day minimum and longer. VRBO payment system does not have the ability to calculate a correct quote for a short stay. Short stays have a slightly higher daily rate than the regular 7 day rate. The reason is the amount of work that the staff need to do before and after the guest stay. Short stay quotes need to be amended manually before booking can the place.
