Start your next adventure and step into The Lofty Cabin at Pettit Bay, our picturesque 2 bedroom cabin in the rolling landscape of Tenkiller Ferry Lake, where you’ll be greeted with incredible views through floor-to-ceiling windows.
Just half a mile away you will find both the Blue Water Bay Marina, and Pettit Bay Park with public boat ramps, swim beaches, campsites, and playgrounds.

The space
The Lofty Cabin on Pettit Bay is a carefully designed lake retreat and quintessential outdoor getaway, central to many of the adventures found near Lake Tenkiller and the Illinois River. Perfect for family fun, romantic getaways, visits to the lake/river, and other activities for up to 6 guests!
The Surroundings
Located on 1 acre of the gorgeous hillside, you’ll have plenty of space for sprawling out and enjoying the fresh air in privacy. Get ready to take in clear night skies full of brilliant constellations from the back-deck— whether it’s a fresh summer evening or crisp fall night next to the fire pit.
The Amenities
The Cabin is fully equipped to be your home-away-from-home. The kitchen is fully furnished, and of course, all you need for coffee each morning! Enjoy your meals together around the dining room table, or take it to the back deck for an epic barbecue.
After time on the lake, visiting friends at Pettit Bay Park, floating the river, or taking in historic Tahlequah, decamp to the family room for a movie night. This comfy space includes a flatscreen TV with streaming access, and WiFi.
Or pour some hot cocoa and gather around the panoramic windows over lake Tenkiller and the Cookson Hills (the favorite hideout of some the most notorious outlaws and gangsters of the past).
Bedrooms include a master with a king bed and a two king bed loft (for a total of 3 king beds). The master bathroom has the standard vanity, toilet, bathtub/shower, and the loft bathroom is accessed by two doors with one leading to the vanity and toilet, and the other leading to a bathtub (no shower). There is plenty of space for everyone to keep up with daily routines.
Heading Into Town
While the Cabin feels just the right amount of secluded. Tahlequah is only 8 miles out and is home to local restaurants and bars, casino, Cherokee Nation museums, North Eastern State University, OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine. While you’re here, be sure to check out some fantastic hiking trails, the world class Woka Whitewater Park, and the Illinois River. Just half a mile from the Cabin you will find both the Blue Water Bay Marina, and Pettit Bay Park with public boat ramps, swim beaches, campsites, and playgrounds.
There are many different state and national parks around the lake that offer activities including nature exhibits, disk golf, pools, splash pads hiking trails, play grounds, fishing, and gift shops,
When you visit Tenkiller Lake, you'll find ten marinas waiting to serve all your boating needs. Whether you are bringing your own boat or want to rent watercraft, you'll find what you're looking for. You can rent everything from kayaks, pontoons, to ski boats to make your adventure complete. You'll also find ship stores, overnight slips, boat repairs, and restaurants at the various marinas in the Tenkiller Lake Area.
If you’re interested in golfing during your stay, the Cherokee Springs Golf Club is just a short drive away.
During your visit, please feel free to enjoy the Roku enabled televisions, movies, board games, books, popcorn, coffee, and tea.

Guests access the property by way of a private driveway, and then enter the home via an electronic keypad on the front door.
Other things to note
Quiet hours are from 10:00pm until 7:00am. This means noise from talking, televisions, sound system, etc. should not be heard by neighbors. If you are looking for a late night party Anchors Up is just a 1/2 mile away, across from the entrance to Pettit Bay Park. Absolutely no pets allowed.
