Amazing Mt. Sunapee Region Home Convenient for many activities! Winter Is Open!

on the ground floor are 2 bedrooms with queen beds, on the second floor are a bunk room that sleeps 4 and a second bedroom with 2 twin beds. There are two baths, one on each floor. Great vacation getaway that can accommodate up to 10. Nice deck and outdoor surroundings that invite folks to enjoy themselves both indoors and out. Open air 4 seasons room, heated in the winter and airy in the summer that invites late evening casual engagements with family and friends. Come and relax!

Newbury Retreat

Walking to the farm down the road, enjoying ice cream at Bubba’s while watching the sunset over Newbury Harbor, and swimming at Lake Kezar (state park) provide simple and serene summer memories.

Fall visit for wedding

Lovely classic home; feels nostalgic old, but isn't actually old. Plenty of space indoors and out for 6+ people. Kids loved the bunk beds. Extremely well stocked kitchen. Very quiet neighborhood and only 15 minutes from Lake Sunapee, harbor, Mount Sunapee.

Awesome and close!

Giant cottage with its own personal touches too it. Gorgeous place with a gorgeous view. Me and my friends had and awesome weekend hoping to make this a yearly trip!

Great family getaway!

We all enjoyed Jeff property. Plenty of room for everyone. We had a couple issues upon arrival but Jeff took care of them promptly. Overall the experience was great!

Very relaxing, comfortable, clean and cozy place with wonderful views. We enjoyed warmth of woodstove while sipping tea or wine. Altho a bit dated and dark, everything you need is there. Beds were comfy.

Great place

The cottage is in an ideal location, close to Lake Sunappe and ski resort. Beautiful views!!! It has all you need for a weekend away. It accomaded two families of 4 and one family of 2. Very easy communication with the host. We had a great time! Would come back!

Just what we needed

Jeff’s house was everything we needed for our ski weekend. We enjoyed comfortably relaxing at the house when not on the mountain- the kitchen had what we needed, the sleeping arrangements were ample, the living room with the woodstove was cozy. Jeff was incredibly easy to be in touch with both before and during our stay. He was very accommodating and helpful.

beautiful home and property

great place to stay! Was grateful that we had warning about limited AT&T cell service( to no fault of the owner), so we were able to communicate with family prior to leaving and they could call on the land line in the house. House was spacious and beautiful. Plenty of room and just what we needed. Glorious view and comfortable seats and beds. A few minor questions on check in (where to find light switches, etc) that Jeff promptly responded to via email. Would definitely rent again if able to!!!

Fall golf

Great place to stay for our fall golf trip. Close to all courses that we played. House was comfortable for 9 adults. Deck was nice and the propane fireplace was great to sit around at night. Lighting was a little dim and a few boards could use a little tlc because of some water damage but not enough to change my 5 star rating. Jeff the owner was great to deal with and answered all my questions promptly.

Lovely spot! Cozy yet roomy home.

Love the coziness of this expansive place. Even the main room with its two-story ceilings felt cozy as we all sat and gabbed into the night, catching up with three generations of family who gathered here for a niece's/granddaughter's/cousin's wedding in nearby Bradford, NH. One slight hiccup with the boiler, but the owner was easy to reach and quick to respond, so it was no big deal. We would absolutely stay here again. Love, love, love the views, and appreciated having enough rooms and beds for us all. Thank you for providing this beautiful property for us and others to use!

very comfortable house with a great deck with beautiful view

My wife and I were able to stay at this house for 9 days while doing the Craftsmen's Fair in Sunapee recently. Thanks Jeff for being so flexible with your Summer rental schedule, it saved us a lot of tiresome driving! The accommodations were very perfect - it's always nice when the cookware is high grade, the glassware is ample and newer, and the knives are all sharp. And every time I opened the door and entered this very comfortable house it felt very welcoming after a busy day. The deck was our favorite place to relax in the evening as each day's sunset was beautiful. We would definitely stay there again.

Lake Sunapee Area Rental Home- Dog friendly

The four humans and 2 canines that stayed at the house had a good time there. The kitchen was very functional with everything you need to prepare meals. Washer and dryer in the basement came in handy for us as we'd been traveling a while. The deck was really nice- newly resurfaced I'd say. We enjoyed the sun porch area. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely high so if you're vertically challenged like we are you may want to bring a step stool! The location was handy for both Mount Sunapee and the lake. The owner Jeff was very response to any questions we had.

Large comfortable house with fabulous deck

What a treat to come back to every afternoon after the annual Craftmen's Fair! Spacious, well appointed, clean, and located in a quiet neighborhood looking out towards the setting sun. This was the 3rd year that we rented this house during the Fair in August, and as always, Jeff was incredibly accommodating and flexible with the days. We are no longer planning to participate in the fair (after 17 years), so any League of NH Craftsmen exhibitors looking for lodging should seriously consider this property! And there's plenty of room to share the space (and rent) with other exhibitors as well.

The perfect spot

We came to the Newbury area this past weekend for an early Christmas celebration with relatives who moved there recently and downsized so have no room for guests. I was lucky enough to find this home on Vrbo, only 15 minutes away. We arrived on Friday in wind and snow gusts and temps below 10 degrees. The second we were inside we were "at home." From the warm wooded walls, beams and railings to the charming and eclectic furnishings and decor pieces and the cozy beds, the home just felt welcoming. It is truly a place where you can just relax. It was very peaceful....and the views! The home had everything we needed for some major pie baking and any other cooking/eating we had to do. We so enjoyed the fireplace/woodstove which created a wonderful ambience in the great room lined with the beer stein collection.The younger folks discovered the Wii and were revisiting their youth! We all fit on the large sectional to watch some Holiday Movies. There are a lot of things we would like to do, places to explore in the nice weather and all of us agreed 100% we would love to stay there again. Our group was three generations ranging from 26 to 89...and our dog Layla. We are all truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for letting us use your wonderful home!

Wonderful Place for our annual ladies' weekend!

My four 60-something friends and I had a wonderful time at this delightful location. The place was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and plenty of room for the five of us to relax in comfort. There were enough beds that no one had to share which is a big plus for us at this point, and there are two bedrooms downstairs for those that might have trouble with stairs. (Although one bed is one of those raised ones, so if there are mobility issues, just keep that in mind. I used the other downstairs room, though and was quite comfortable. The views out the big picture windows were spectacular. It was cool weather while we were there so we did not use the deck at all, but the cheerful sunroom was also very nice for relaxing in the afternoon. It was a short ride into Sunapee where we did the boat tour of the lake and visited a few gift shops and had dinner at one of several restaurants. We did not have any issues that we had to contact the owner about during our stay, but while in the planning stages, he was very quickly responsive to any questions I had. We were very happy with our selection.

Fabulous getaway! We rented this house with our 2 Dandie Dinmont Terriers while in New London for a wedding. The place was immaculate and even nicer than the pictures! Spectacular mountain views. Rustic and cozy with all the amenities you could need. Very comfortable beds We were just sorry we could not stay longer. We will be back!

Great location!

We needed something close to Mt. Sunapee for a family wedding and this fit the bill. Location was great, house is super cute and could accommodate all of our pre and post wedding activities.

Why they chose this property

The view out the back of the house of Mt. Sunapee's backside and Bear Hill are amazing when the sunsets over the mountain! Watching the snowstorms come in in the winter and the rain in the summer are truly unique and took sold us on the location immediately!

What makes this property unique

10 minutes to Mt. Sunapee for winter skiing and snowboarding, summer events and the new zip line and mountain bike adventure park are obvious. Not so obvious are the multiple lakes and streams within 5 to 30 minutes for all sorts of summer water sports activities make this a unique kick off site for all the region has to offer.
