About this property

THE LUXURY CABIN IN THE WOODS

The Cabin is a fully furnished rustic 3 bedroom home on 13 acres of woods with a fishing pond and 2 fire-pits for those chilly nights.
(15 MILES TO SANDYS /RACING/CASINO AND MALIBU JACKS INDOOR THEME PARK)13 MILES FROM RUSH OFF-ROAD
The property has plenty of wildlife you can see from the porch ,deer, turkey and lots of smaller animals. The house features a gas log fireplace and a fully stocked kitchen for cooking up your favorite dishes also we provide a gas grill outside on the wrap around porch.
The porch has a swing and plenty of seating. The pond has a dock with seating and is fully stocked with catfish bluegill and bass(catch and release only).
Inside we have a king master suite with a shower ,bath
tub.
On the main floor we have a bunk room that accommodates 4 people in the built in extra long bunks.
Upstairs we have a queen bed room that overlooks the living room and kitchen there is also a balcony that overlooks the back yard large patio doors for plenty of light and a privacy screen .
A complete wash room with full size washer and dryer.
There are a lot of properties around this area at a lower cost but you get what you pay for. This one is my home .I built this place for myself to retire. It has all the amenities of a vacation property without dealing with other guests.
Privacy, Fishing, Hiking all can be found here at my home.
I have a keyless entry system and you get a code to get in.
I love sitting on the wrap around porch watching the horses running in the field ,or watching the deer and turkey feeding by the pond.

Our reason for going to a cabin at the end of each year is to recharge and find ourselves. Just me , my husband and our two German Shepherds. This cabin is away from everything and did what we wanted. The host Donovan was very easy to work with and very respectful. We would recommend this cabin to anyone. Clean and well taken care of and the catfish in the catch and release area were huge and fun to watch eat the feed we brought. Five stars!

Very cozy and comfortable. It had fully stocked dishware and coffee supplies, which was very handy. We spent a lot of time at the fire pit and in the livingroom and were able to easily relax. The only thing was that the gas fireplace was off and we couldnt figure out how to get it to turn on. Despite that, it was a wonderful trip and we're for sure going to come back.

Wow. What a great time for the family! We booked 3/6-3/7 for a weekend getaway to celebrate my oldest sons birthday. And man. What a great time. We caught probable 20 catfish and 4 bass in 4 or 5 hrs saturday morning. The cabin is beautiful. We didnt explore all the acreage. There looked to be some cleared out pathways. We didnt have a ton of time and we had a blast fishing. The owner Donavan is very nice and responds right away. We had an issue with the fridge leaking and he answered immediately and we got the problem resolved. The mountains are beautiful. Were hoping to be back this summer. But if not definetly next. What a getaway for the family!

THE CABIN HAS A WRAP AROUND PORCH WITH A GREAT VIEW ALONG WITH A FISHING POND AND A DOCK TO SIT AND WATCH THE SUNSET.
INSIDE I FILLED THE WALLS WITH ANIMAL MOUNTS AND PICTURES OF PLACES I HAVE BEEN.
THE 2 MAIN BEDROOMS HAVE CEDAR LOG BEDS ,OUTDOOR DECOR AND THE THIRD BEDROOM HAS FOUR BUILT IN BUNKS WITH MEMORY FOAM MATTRESSES
LEATHER FURNITURE , CABLE TV ON THE BIG SCREEN AND A GAS FIREPLACE IS VERY COMFORTABLE FOR THE EVENINGS
YOU ARE PRETTY ISOLATED BUT CLOSE ENOUGH TO HAVE RESTAURANTS WITHIN A FEW MILES
YOU HAVE MANY KENTUCKY STATE PARKS WITHIN A 30-60 MINUTE DRIVE
WALMART GROCERY STORE WITHIN A 15 MINUTE DRIVE
