Nestled along the Potomac River just downstream from historic Shepherdstown, this charming waterfront retreat offers the perfect blend of casual comfort and natural beauty. The main level welcomes you with expansive picture windows framing stunning river views, while the open floor plan seamlessly connects the full kitchen, living and dining areas under a vaulted ceiling. The full bed has its own semi-private nook next to the bath (with shower), and a daybed with trundle offers additional sleeping options on the main level. Dine al fresco on the front deck and enjoy the views, or slip out to the private screened porch in back for extra dining and living space.
The lower level features a private bedroom, additional full bath with both shower and clawfoot tub, and a cozy family room with fireplace—plus sleeping space for more guests with two full-sized futons. With multiple ways to use the space, the full house can sleep up to 10 people.

One hundred feet of private waterfront is perfect for kayaking, riverside cookouts, or simply watching the gorgeous sunsets. The house is equipped for your enjoyment, including puzzles, vintage family games, a small ping pong table, kayaks, paddles, and plenty of options for river floats (including river shoes!).

Whether you're planning an intimate getaway, friends weekend or gathering of the extended family, the River House offers the perfect home base for exploring all that Shepherdstown has to offer.
