Welcome to Drifter’s Landing, a cozy 2-bedroom lakeside cabin perfect for small families, couples, or solo travelers seeking a peaceful escape. Surrounded by the serene beauty of Lake Erie and Carolinian forests of Point Pelee, this cabin blends modern comfort with rustic charm.

The cabin’s layout flows naturally as you move through it. Step into the fully equipped kitchen, with all the essentials for cooking and laundry facilities for your convenience. Just past the kitchen, the breakfast nook and indoor dining area provide a bright, comfortable space for morning coffee or casual meals. From there, the living room invites you to relax on comfortable couches around the central fireplace, perfect for cool autumn evenings.

Off the living room, the sunroom offers lake views while keeping you sheltered from nature`s elements — a peaceful spot to watch the sun shimmer across the water. The main bedroom features a queen bed and easy access to the bathroom, which sits conveniently between the main bedroom and the bunk room. The bunk room, with two twin beds, is ideal for kids and also accessible via a hallway from the kitchen, and features a small TV equipped with a DVD player.

Step outside to the water’s edge deck, where Muskoka chairs offer the perfect vantage point for Lake Erie sunsets. Enjoy the outdoor dining area and barbecue that make it easy to enjoy meals surrounded by nature and transition after dinner to share stories and s`mores around the fire pit. The cabin is just a short drive from Point Pelee National Park, Mersea Park, Caldwell Marina Conservation Boardwalk, and Seacliff Park and Beach, giving you plenty of options to explore the outdoors.

Rental Agreement - Guest must sign rental agreement. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your rental. There will be no refunds given if the agreement is not signed.

Security Deposit - A $350 offline Security deposit hold will be required and a link will be sent to you.

The online check-in form must be completed in order for your door code to generate into your guest portal

Check In is after 4 pm
Check Out is 10 am to avoid the $75/hr late check out fee.

Smoking/Vaping -Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the house. Please smoke outside and dispose of all cigarettes butts appropriately

Shoes - We ask that you do not wear shoes inside the house, as it tracks in a lot of things we prefer stay outdoors.

Bugs- We recommend that you come prepared with appropriate bug repellent, such as bug spray, to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience during your outdoor activities. Bug spray can greatly assist in minimizing any inconvenience caused by insects.

Unannounced guests - We ask that there are no unregistered guest past 10pm. Pre check in form must be submitted-All guests must be registered.

First Aid Kit & Fire Extinguisher - We have provided both a First Aid Kit and fire extinguisher in case of an emergency.

Housekeeping - There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the home, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit for towels or linens to be taken from the house. Should you need extra maid service, please contact us to arrange it. Extra maid services would be at an extra cost.

Please do not use tape, glue, glitter or confetti or create holes when when decorating on the property to avoid an additional cleaning fee will be charged.

NOISE-GUESTS SHOULD NOT CREATE EXCESSIVE NOISE AT A LEVEL THAT DISTURBS NEIGHBOURS. QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 10PM-8AM

Garbage - Any garbage must be stowed in the appropriate bins outdoors. We recommend the garbage is taken out daily to avoid unnecessary odors.

Recycling - Please sort all recycling in appropriate bins (Paper Products in red bin, Glass & Plastic in Blue bins) Do not bag recycling! To avoid a $50 Sorting Fee.

Parking - Please park vehicles in designated parking areas only. Please do not park on the grass or in the neighbour driveway. Any illegally parked vehicles are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

Trespassing : do not trespass on neighbours property. Only Stay on our property and public spaces. Violators will be charged with Trespassing.

Appliances & kitchenware - Only use appliances for their intended uses. We have provided kitchenware for our guests, we kindly ask that you wash anything that is used. Dish soap and cloths are located under the sink.

Furniture and decor - Please do not move the furniture or decor. This can damage the floors and disturb the atmosphere of the home we have work so hard to create.

Pets - Unfortunately, this property is not suitable for pets of any kind.

Towels - Please leave used towel on the floor in the bathroom

Water and septic - DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the system, you could be charged damages of up to $1000.

Liability - The owners and property manager (PM) are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowner and PM are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or other whom the invite to use the premise.
