We thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Back Porch. The campsite is spacious, very nicely landscaped and the views are wonderful, especially the sunsets. The location is convenient to everything. We spent the days exploring the Oly Peninsula and enjoyed relaxing by the campfire at night. Kate was a wonderful host and very responsive to messages. The "welcome pack" was a nice touch. We would definitely stay there again.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Owner cancelled our booking Wednesday before a Friday check in on a holiday weekend. I had booked on VRBO weeks in advance for this VRBO RV site. I had questions about some confusing statements about the bathroom situation, and had emailed the owner twice to get information. No owner response for three weeks. I called, no answer. I texted. Zero response to the call or the text.

My booking calendars between platforms were supposed to sync automatically, and notify me of any bookings. Unfortunately this did not happen and I did not realize there was a reservation or a problem. The reservation notification did not come through and I did not receive the usual notifications by text or email. I’ve already corrected the calendar sync issue and made sure the notifications are set up properly so this does not happen again I sincerely apologize that this happened.
