Secluded Cabin on Mt. Laurel Farm

Be among the first to stay at our magical Catskills country retreat! Since we just listed the property, we’re offering it at a discounted price. Our newly renovated cabin is tastefully furnished, and features a fully stocked chef's kitchen and comfortable beds. Set amidst 12 acres of manicured lawns, orchards, and forests, our secluded property features a creek, a picturesque old barn, and a fire pit. Perfect for hiking, swimming, golfing, fishing, or simply star-gazing. Only 2 hours from NYC.

The Space
We renovated a cabin that was part of a bungalow colony in the 1950's (think "Dirty Dancing"!), turning 2 of the original 4 bedrooms into a kitchen and a living room, and putting in a state-of-the-art bathroom. The property invites you to spend most of your time outdoors, where you'll find a creek to wade in, beautiful lawn furniture, a hammock, a fire pit, and a 15ft trampoline. You're welcome to explore the enormous 3-floor barn on our property, which contains treasures from its 80 years of existence, from old farm equipment and skis to an eclectic collection of furniture, books, and knickknacks. In case of inclement weather there's a TV/VCR for your entertainment. Please note that we have no Internet and little cellphone reception on the property (there is a landline, however), so we encourage you to plan accordingly, and enjoy the feeling of being "unplugged" during your stay.

Guest access
When you stay at our property, you will be entirely undisturbed. You'll have access to all of our 12 acres, and we invite you to feel completely at home.

Guest interaction
We won't be on the property during your stay. Should you encounter any problems, or have questions we didn't address, you can reach us via cell phone at any time (you'll get reception a few minutes away from our property).

Neighborhood overview
The neighboring farm's cows sometimes come to graze at the border of our property behind the barn, so don't be surprised if you hear a sudden 'mooo' right next to you! Other frequent visitors are deer, beavers, and weasels.

Getting around
There is no public transportation nearby, so a car is an absolute must. Crystal Lake is a 5 minute drive away. Our property is located half way between Roscoe and Callicoon, which are both pretty towns with grocery stores and quaint shops.
