Midtown Midcentury--For fun-loving folks or families

This midtown, midcentury ranch has an expansive, recently renovated kitchen perfect for large group meals or extended cocktail hours. With four separate bedrooms and three baths, there is also plenty of room for everyone to have some privacy. This is our primary residence, and we have children, so you will notice "evidence" of them in our home, but if you bring children along, they will enjoy all of our children's toys and outside activities! We are always available by text, phone call or e mail for questions or if you have any trouble during your stay. We enjoy personalizing each guests visit by preparing a welcome basket with your favorite treats as well as info and literature regarding special point of interest that may enhance your stay in Tallahassee. We are about 4 miles from FSU and the capital and about 2 miles from I-10. You really can't get a better location!

Good location - perfect size for the number of people we had. Love the kitchen lots of space. Slider to the out side wouldn’t lock. Guest bath in the hall wouldn’t drain. I would stay here again.

Graduation weekend

Family of 7. We were happy to be able to stay together. My MIL and my son are allergic to cats. Wish we had been told before booking that an outdoor cat comes inside at times. Both the MIL and son had allergic reactions. My MIL eyes were swollen shut by Saturday morning. My son who is asthmatic had an asthma attack. But we spent more time together in the house than we would have at a hotel.

Wonderful Family Home

Our stay was fantastic! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to super comfortable beds. The outdoor space was perfect for relaxing, and the location was ideal—peaceful yet close to local attractions. The hosts were friendly and responsive, providing a helpful guide to the house and area. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would love to return!

Homecoming Headquarters

Great house and great host !! This was our second stay at the property, and again it was just as advertised. It offers plenty of room for the small gathering of old FSU friends that our host allowed. She was even so kind as to mail us a personal item that got left behind. It will be our first choice in accommodations for any stay in Tally !!

Great weekend in Tally!

We had the best time staying at this home! We were in town for a college friend reunion and it was perfect. It was super clean and homey. Loved everything about it. Kitchen space was great for hanging out. Host was attentive and offered to provide coffee and snacks. We would definitely stay in this home again on another trip.

Midtown home away from home

This home has everything you want or need in a home. The kitchen is fully equipped with an expansive island. Big windows let in natural light and warmth. The bathroom in the primary bedroom is newly remodeled and very comfortable. The backyard is beautiful and was the perfect setting for our family event. The owner/host was friendly, hospitable and very accommodating. We truly enjoyed our visit.

Homecoming headquarters

We needed a 4/3 for six people, and also needed a place which allowed small groups for our college friends to gather. Due the late gametime, we were unable to have a gathering, but the house would have been PERFECT for it !! The host was accessible and accommodating, the house was everything advertised, and we would certainly book there again.

One of the BEST!

This is our second time staying at this property and it’s one of the best properties we’ve stayed at, anywhere. The location is perfect, it’s on a main road but tucked up on a little hill. Easy to get to everything. The house itself is spacious and well appointed. A lot of updates have been done since our last stay 3 years ago and they have made this property even better. Beds are very comfortable, there is lots of room for everyone to gather together but also have their own space. The house was perfect for our family, including 4 older grandparents that were able to get around the one level home with ease. This house would be great for families with younger kids! Host was responsive and helpful. I cannot recommend this property enough!

Incredible Location - Safe and Relaxing

I came to Tallahassee to enjoy a long weekend and celebrate my graduation from FSU. This house was a perfect fit for my needs, particularly the location, and the setting. I haven't rented many homes on VRBO, but in this instance, I was surprised to find that this home is fully stocked and occupied when not rented. This means that closets, dressers, and cabinets have personal items in them and that was a surprise for my group and took a day or so to adjust because we felt like we were invading someone else's space. I understand that is typical in Tallahassee, so I wanted to make sure others are aware.

Lovely Midcentury Charmer

This house was a charming property that met all our needs. It had a beautifully updated kitchen with the décor and architecture of a classic midcentury modern home. The host was easy to communicate with and the location was perfect. I highly recommend this property.

Great Location for Football Weekend

This is a terrific property and the managers were great. They welcomed us with snacks and beverages. It is a fabulous place to enjoy time with family. If we go back to the area, we would definitely stay here again if the dates were available.

FSU Graduation Celebration

The home was very spacious with a nice back yard to enjoy the weather. It was very close to FSU making the attendance of different graduation festivities very painless. Did not disappoint!

Great house!

This was a great rental for our family to gather and celebrate my daughters graduation from FSU. Great location, great set up, plenty of room. Be aware that this is a family’s home- as in all of their belongings will be there, right down to their food and drinks in the refrigerator, dishes in the dishwasher, and laundry in the washing machine. It was not a problem at all, just somehow took me by surprise even though I think it’s mentioned on the listing or in the reviews. Do not let that stop you from staying here- it’s overall a really great rental and I will hopefully stay here again!

Wonderful Hosts, Wonderful Property

Our family from multiple locations met in Tally to meet its newest member and so happy we found this property to do so! The home had something for every member of our family. We loved browsing the photos and art. The kitchen had everything we needed! Amy is the perfect hostess, goes above and beyond, and is easy to communicate with! 5 stars all around!
