The All-New Summer House on Romar Beach 1004B Book Now for Spring & Summer 2026

Thank you so much for visiting our VRBO site for the All-New Summer House on Romar Beach. We are a Mississippi family who always dreamed of a home at Orange Beach. We purchased our little piece of Orange Beach at the end of 2017, and we think Summer House is the greatest place to vacation, especially unit 1004B. Summer House on Romar Beach has been beautifully updated & the pools are open, so we are just going to tell you what makes our unit so special.

We wanted our unit to have a “Coastal Living” style, and we think we accomplished our goal. The entire unit is painted “Sea Salt” in color. This relaxing tone is a very light blue/grey, but it changes with the light. You may even see a hint of green as the sun falls. All the trim is painted a bright white, giving the unit a clean, crisp look. Everything is bright and light. We have ceramic till throughout that looks like hardwood. Many who visit leave with a plan to go home and remodel just like this unit. It is beautiful with such a relaxing environment.

For the living room, we chose two full size linen sofas with one opening into a sleeper bed. These down-filled sofas offer the perfect spot for an afternoon nap during the hottest time of the day. The boys insisted on two ocean blue recliners to flank the couches. We knew there would be a fight over who got the chair so we went ahead and got two! These chairs recline and are made of the softest leather you’ve ever felt. We added a 47” flat screen TV mounted to the wall. The smart TV is equipped with internet so you can access your Netflix and Pandora accounts while on vacation. Colorful original art work adorns the entire unit. It’s like having your very own art gallery to enjoy. All the tables in the unit are reclaimed and refurbished with a distressed look including the big 60” round driftwood dining table with plenty of room for 8 family members to gather up for dinner or a good ole’ game night.

Have you ever stayed in beach homes where all the cooking supplies were cheap? We hate that! We made sure to stock our kitchen with the best cooking equipment you’ll need to cook wonderful meals while vacationing. We included nice dishware and silverware to set the table for a fabulous meal for your family and friends. We don’t think you’ll have any complaints about the kitchen, except who’s going to cook dinner. Quartz countertops have been installed in the kitchen and baths resembling natural marble.

Our unit has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. There is a king size bed in the first two bedrooms and 2 queen beds in the third. Each bed is lined with brand new white 450-thread sheets and bedding. Each room has room darkening curtains for late morning sleeping, as well as a flat screen TV mounted to the wall. Both bathrooms have new faucets and showerheads, along with all new towels!

We feel the most important components to a great beach home are vast ocean views, comfy beds, and a large outdoor area. Our unit has all of this! Our ocean view and balcony are perfect. Guests often comment our balcony is like having the beach all to yourself since no other units are in view. All you see is the vast Gulf. And the balcony is huge offering plenty of room for our bar-height Adirondack table and chairs to seat 6, along with additional lounge chair seating. We are partial, but we think we have one of the most beautiful and stylish units at Summerhouse, and we have no doubt you too will love it!
