Stayed the weekend here while visiting my son for family weekend at Mizzou. Only a 20-30 minute drive to the campus. Very clean and had everything we needed. We even went out on the lake with the paddle boat and pontoon boat. Will definitely stay again!

Can’t wait to return!

What a lovely cabin! It was very clean and had everything we needed while we were there. The weather didn’t cooperate but we can’t wait to go back! Grandson had a baseball tournament in Columbia so it was so nice to come back and have peace and quiet. Grandson even caught some fish!!!

Amazing

The property was beautiful. It was so quiet in the cabin. Neighbors were great. Huge bonfire pit, playgrounds, boat was free! We were able to paddle board in the lake and swing on the porch. Clean, well stocked cabin. We highly recommend and our children want to go back!

Wonderful property, secluded yet close to town. Need only to update broken door lock, appliances like working toaster, cooking pans. But I would go back. Had a wonderful time!

Loved our cabin and our time here!!!

We loved our cabin and the beautiful setting! The cabin was very clean and the perfect size for our family. It was very quiet, and I really enjoyed relaxing and sitting on the porch swing looking at the lake. I will definitely stay at this cabin retreat again and often. A perfect home away from home to build beautiful family memories.

Great cabin but not exactly as described

The registration office was closed I expected to paddle boat watch movies etc but there was no one there. I did not receive the code on time for check in. I was in town to attend a family members surgery and had some family over during the day. It was a truly beautiful place and I enjoyed it very much. Maybe things are different in the summer but it felt very abandoned. I didn't mind much though.

Beautiful location

The location is beautiful. Beware of arrival after dark as the property is poorly lit and difficult to negotiate gravel road in the dark with no lighting. The property appeared not to have been cleaned for awhile (dust all along back of couch, food and gross debris on stovetop covered by shiny metal rim, etc.).

Amazing!!

We had two families staying for the weekend to go cheer on our Aggies at Mizzou. This cabin was the perfect place to hang out, grill, and even do a little fishing. Extremely clean and the perfect layout!

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend in one of their cabins. with lake right out back porch and easy to access from cabin. pontoon and paddleboats offered to cabin guests at no extra cost as well as fishing! my daughter had so much fun for her birthday which was the reason for this quick nicely located weekend getaway! so relaxing for not only adults but for kids also! would definitely recommend. the only 2 things i would say could improve their cabins are screen doors as there were alot of flies coming in as u go in and out both entrances and would recommend a tv for the upstairs loft as well but other than that no complaints

Great gathering spot

We rented cabins 1 and 2 to be shared among 6 adults and 4 little children. This set up worked well for us even though we ended up putting the pack n play in the upstairs bathroom! (Only quiet place we could find!) The master bed was a bit squeaky and in cabin 2 the bed is rather high to be placed near the railing so you might not want little children up there unsupervised. That being said, the cabin layout was great and we were very thankful for a full size refrigerator. We loved using the pontoon boats even if they were a bit worn. Very glad they came with life jackets although it would have been nice to have some child size. Everyone loved fishing and swimming in the lake. We asked if a hose could be provided so we could use a sprinkler for the younger children. Linda made this happen and it was something we needed on a 95 degree day! We also used the laundry facility at the rv park. Very clean and efficient. For our family, this was a perfect place for us to gather. The setting is beautiful and the evolve team went out of their way to accommodate us. Thank you!

Fantastic Time!

We wanted to have a nice local getaway and settled on this semi-remote cabin on the lake. The boats can be obtained rent free. The management team has a constant presence which i found comforting. My only complaint is that the online description says that you can contact the management if there are questions and I had questions that I asked on multiple attempts and never received any response. At one point I didn't know if we were even staying there b/c there was no confirmation. It all worked out in the end, the location was perfect. It felt like we were glamping!

The perfect family getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! My two sons (2 & 4) loved the horses and other wildlife we were able to see while exploring the property. My husband and I loved being able to sit on the porch swing while the sun was going down. It was absolutely pouring rain the first night that we came, and we were able to still enjoy our first night with watching a movie on the television with Netflix. The size is perfect for a family of four and the children loved being upstairs in the loft! We will definitely come back! Thank you to Linda for the phone chat letting us know all about the property and that the horses love carrots and apples! We’ll be sure to bring them the next time we come!

Weekend getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay- beautiful property! We definitely were able to relax and unwind; we would consider coming back. The only critique we have is that the cabin needs a more thorough cleaning between guests.

Perfect Place for "Social Distancing"

The cabin was great and a perfect alternative to our big city plans in the middle of the COVID-19 crisis. It was so peaceful. The kids had a great time exploring the property. It was terrific family time. Our only issue (which I didn't mention to the owner so admittedly they didn't have an opportunity to address it) was that the lower bathtub didn't drain well. Other than that, we recommend this property!

Great Cabin

Only issues I thought the mattresses on beds were not very comfortable and pillows were very flat. Beautiful place and they cleaned the unexpected snow off quickly so I could get out to my meetings.

Perfect Choice

Every year we 6 girl cousins meet for a weekend of shopping and renewal. This cabin was a perfect choice! We could all stay together, make our own meals, and have a wonderful time!

Very nice cabin! Will definitely return!

This property is very clean and in a beautiful setting. It was a nice retreat from the busy city and we appreciated the home feeling. The beds and furniture are very comfortable and we were able to fix a nice home cooked meal for our college daughter. The front right burner on the store was not functioning but we made it work. Very nice kitchen pans and tableware. Linens were high quality and enough towels for the weekend. Thank you!
