Wake up to the morning sun breaking through the mist that clings to the water. With its air conditioning, equipped kitchen and laundry facilities, you have all the convenience of city dwelling in a secluded natural setting.



North Lake Waterfront Home features a large deck situated only steps from the crystal clear water's edge of North Lake.



The home boasts 180 degree panoramic lake views from the open plan living room/ eating area downstairs and from the master bedroom upstairs. The master bedroom features a comfortable handcrafted fourposter bed, while the downstairs bedroom offers two twin beds which can be pushed together to make a king.



Curl up to the cozy woodburning stove and watch a DVD, listen to music or play one of the many board games available.



There are 2 private docks with a rowboat, paddle boat and life jackets for guest's use. The grounds are carefully landscaped, displaying dozens of varieties of Rhododendrons and other local indigenous plant species.



The Lakeside Cottage is just 100 meters down the driveway from this Vacation Home. Renting both can be the perfect solution for a party of six, offering one couple an extra degree of privacy.



North Lake Waterfront Home is located on the North end of the Sunshine Coast of BC, just outside of the village of Egmont and a hop skip and a jump from Vancouver by ferry. Relax and enjoy the 40 minute ferry ride and the scenery of fir and cedar treed islands and majestic coastal mountains. Once you arrive in Gibsons, it is a scenic drive up the coast to our waterfront accommodations.



Relax with your coffee on the deck while you listen to the call of the loons off in the distance. In the summer, the lake reaches warm temperatures for swimming.



In the winter, enjoy a book by the fireplace or try your luck fishing for lake trout. There are no motorized boats on North Lake, so if peace and quiet is what you're looking for then you have come to the right spot! We request that guests respect the tranquility of the setting and adhere to the 11 pm outdoor noise curfew during their stay.



Interested in viewing the famous Skookumchuck Rapids? Just continue down Egmont Road to the start of the Skookumchuck Trail only 5 minutes away.



Just a short drive away is the Backeddy Pub and Marina and the sea. Here you can take a cruise on world famous Princess Louisa or try a burger in the pub while you watch the boats come and go. In the evening, barbecue fresh prawns or salmon caught fresh on the Sunshine Coast. The Ruby Lake Resort, only 10 minutes away, features fine Italian-inspired cuisine.



Please note minimum nightly stay requirements for different times of the year. Rates adjust to demand. Off season monthly rentals only are available with a 27 night minimum stay from October May.

Great place to stay, felt like the old days before another unnamed rental platform destroyed itself (ie felt like someone's actual home they rented out). Lovely spot. Only knocking off a star because of communication overload. Wasn't sure if I was communicating with agency, owner or 'host'. They were all perfectly fine when speaking to each of them though. Place was clean enough.

Beautiful property but the management company is obnoxious

I loved the house and our stay. It was perfect. However, I received endless phone calls and emails about payment and authorizations and contracts and downloading unnecessary apps. It was not pleasant. Also, heads up that the front door automatically locks so do not leave the key inside the house..

This was our 2nd stay at the property, 1st time in the waterfront house and it met all our expectations! Clean and roomy, the layout and space is well set up. The kitchen was well equipped. The deck and small beach were perfect! So many peaceful mornings and afternoons on the deck. The check in process was smooth, had a phone call from Lydia a few days previous with instructions. Otherwise had no problems. Can't wait for next year.

Amazing check out from the big city

After spending 3 days on the lake, we are completely destressed from our day to day city lives. Loved every minute of it, from fishing off the paddleboat, drinking wine on the deck, to playing cards in the house. Could have used a little more Sun, but thats just June in BC, hard to plan around that. Only reason Im leaving -1 star for accuracy, is it dosent state in the description that there is no cell or WiFi at the house. Not a big deal, and it was great to completely check out anyway, but we did have some family we had to check in with back home every day which meant a short drive to Egmont a few times day. Cant wait to come back again!

This place was perfect to get away and enjoy nature. Be advised there is no cellular service at the house. You have to drive a few minutes to get signal. It's the perfect place to enjoy time with family and try new things such as paddle boating and fishing .

Cleanliness much improved, thanks. And glad to have the rowboat and paddleboat in working order. Great new dock too! One suggestion....for the main floor bedroom....perhaps extra bed linens could be stored elsewhere, thus leaving the wire racks in the cupboard avaiable to unpack your clothes so you don't need to live out of a suitcase during your stay. I appreciated having access to extra bed linens since I didn't know whether I would have guests come for a day or two....but wonder if a different storage space could be found????? eg. hall closet??Our greeter was great and so helpful to help carry bags in for in my friend who has a mobility disability. Thank you !!!!Will return as often as I can!!!

Great swimming from 2 docks or the sandy beach. Found EMR's rules and regulations very long and somewhat complicated to understand, but Isabel in Vancouver provided clarity to us about this. Confusion about the greeter: EMR site said that David Gray, the owner was the greeter, but in fact it was someone else.....the greeter had emailed me but I did not recognize their name and the email was not clearly identified as from EMR. However the greeter, Paula, was great once we met her.
