Awesome Location and Decor

Wonderful West Point Location

We loved our stay here. The location was so convenient for visiting West Point and events at The Thayer Hotel. We stayed here for 2 nights while in town for a family memorial service at West Point. The West Point decor made our stay even more memorable. A surprise bonus was the amazing beds! They were unbelievably comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay in a historical home

My family and I had a great weekend in this charming, historical house. The house was clean, the rooms were spacious, and the beds were really comfortable! We loved all the West Point memorabilia placed around the home and its location. The house is in a quiet area but right around the corner from Main St restaurants and just a few minutes from West Point and a short drive from Bear Mountain. Would definitely recommend when visiting the area!

Great Easter Weekend

Our family stayed at the property over the Easter weekend as my son-in-law was playing baseball vs Army. The home was absolutely perfect! Heather was a fantastic host and SO quick to respond to any and all communication. We walked to dinners and were so close to everything. This property is everything it is advertised!!

In Town Charmer

Our family spent a long weekend at this property and enjoyed it very much. Heather was very nice and easy to communicate with and we really appreciated all of the suggestions she gave us for things to do and see in the area. The house is well stocked, very clean, nicely decorated and updated. The neighborhood is quiet and very close to West Point Academy so if that’s on your must do list, this would be a great property. Great house in a terrific location

We’ve escaped upstate from NYC many times during the pandemic, but this was our favorite property. The house was immaculate, the hosts nicely left us wood for the fire pit, and took care of the little bit important details like Kleenex in every room, k cups for the coffeemaker, plenty of luxurious towels, shampoo and conditioner, and a well equipped kitchen. The location, right outside one of West Point’s gates, walking distance to MacArthur’s restaurant at the Thayer Hotel inside the gates, and to a wine store just down the block, and near to some awesome hikes, was super convenient. We also enjoyed all the great West Point memorabilia throughout the house. Nice large table on the deck and in the dining room gave us plenty of room to spread out. All in all a great weekend trip.

Fantastic stay at West Point

What a wonderful home away from home to visit our cadet and meet his friends. House is comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully appointed. It’s an easy walk to town and to the Thayer gate. Heather is a fantastic host! Highly recommend!

Welcome to Our Rockbound Highland Home! Dan graduated from West Point and spent much of his 25-year Army career here, where we met and married in the Cadet Chapel in 2006. We have owned this wonderful home since 2003, and offer it to others to create new memories and enjoy its convenience and charm. GO ARMY!

Why they chose this property

The location and conveniences can't be beat! The home was recently remodeled with all new furnishings and linens, and a new driveway to easily accommodate 2 vehicles. It now offers central heat/air vs most of the local homes use window AC units in the summer. It is impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. It feels like it is your home while you are visiting.

What makes this property unique

The outdoor entertaining space is top notch! A new expanded deck for lounging and dining, as well as a fire pit.
