We had a great time! The host was extremely responsive, and the house was exceptionally clean.The host also went above and beyond by providing many of the thoughtful touches you would typically find at a nice hotel, including plush towels and a great selection of K-Cups.We would definitely stay here again!

Marlene was a great host and very communicative. She was accommodating with our early arrival and attentive when we had a small thermostat hiccup. Everything was very clean and had pretty much all we needed for a weekend stay. It was very close to the beaches and had easy parking. Overall was a great stay.

Honestly, when we walked into this house, we almost felt like we were walking into our home. Everything was neat and tidy, and smelled fresh. The beds were so comfortable and not once did we get that yuck feeling anywhere in the home. If we find ourselves returning to Presque Isle, we would most definitely try to rent the same house. Maureen, you are a peach! Thank you for the ease of communicating with all of the questions we had.

We had a wonderful stay at Marlene’s cottage. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach and a perfect base for exploring Presque Isle. We greatly enjoyed the hiking, birding, and wildlife viewing there.The cottage was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed. Marlene was a friendly, responsive, and accommodating host who made us feel very welcome.For a casual dinner, we highly recommend Wooden Ladle Ramen & Rice Bowl. Both the Tonkotsu and Chicken Wonton ramen were outstanding.We highly recommend Marlene’s cottage to anyone visiting the area.

Marlene was fantastic! She answered any questions I had, came over showed me how to use the thermostat. One of the best couches I've ever sat on also lol area was nice and quite water pressure was great, and so close to everything was very enjoyable and will definitely go back again!

I spent a week at this beautiful cottage and will return. The home is roomy yet cozy, remodeled and modern, decorated with all natural elements, and has every modern convenience. Everything is provided - fluffy hotel towels, filtered water, all necessities. The host is attentive and responds quickly to every need. The location is perfect and it is a lovely spot for a getaway.

We had an amazing stay at this lovely cottage in Erie! I would give it 6 stars if I could! The host was responsive, welcoming, accommodating and had everything you needed already in the cottage. The cottage was immaculate... like a brand new home! The decor was warm and inviting and also comforting. The bed was very comfortable with all the lines, blankets and warmth needed for a winter visit to Erie. Towels, shampoo, soap and paper products all provided in the bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked with just about all needed to cook a Thanksgiving dinner, which is what we did. The location was great for us and close to what we needed while visiting our daughter and family. This cottage like staying in a hotel but even better with all the amenities and all the comforts and room of a 2 bedroom home!

Love the location (so close to the lake), beautifully updated and decorated. Love the new parking pad and front porch. Nice backyard seating as well. Communication was excellent. She let me know I could check in a hour early because the house was ready. This is my third stay here and plan on staying next summer as well. That says it all :)
