Relax peacefully at our beautiful CABIN on small lake. Perfect for couples or family's offering a queen bed, a couch that's makes a bed for small child, & and extra nice queen air mattress available as well. The cabin is built in an open room setting. Tents are allowed in the yard for extra guests up to 5 for a total guest count of 10. Linens & bath towels are provided. Located between Galax & Fries next to New River Trail State Park. A 60 mile trail with tunnel & river tressell. Activities available such as hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, tubing & swimming.. 12 minutes from Galax Va, 10 minutes to Fries & 30 min to Fancy Gap...

Me and my wife came up for Thanksgiving week, the cabin was very nice, and quiet , it has a great view of the mountains and there were a ton of deer that like to hangout in the front yard, and the lake out front has some nice large mouth bass . Definitely would recommend it for a quiet relaxing vacation..

The area is so beautiful and its remote location is ideal for unplugging and getting some peace and quiet. The cabin is cozy and very well kept. The bed is a bit uncomfortable for 2 people to sleep in, but that's my only complaint. Would definitely recommend for weekend getaways and nature lovers.

It is a rustic property and the view is beautiful and very quiet. There is no cell service but the WIFI was stable. One thing worth mentioning is that the floor is very uneven so would not recommend to someone who has balance issues.

We were driving through and wanted a nice relaxing place to stay overnight. Cabin was cozy, had all the necessities and the host reached out to let us know he had everything ready. Great place for those looking for simple comforts with great scenery. Front porch was perfect place for morning coffee.
