Clean, updated, and wonderful condo right across the street from the beach. We've stayed at Maui Vista before, but this condo was more amazing. I missed the check-in instructions through email and called the owner on Christmas. I felt so badly, but he was kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and clean. Great location within super easy walking distance to the beach, food trucks and restaurants. Great location to explore the whole island from.

We really enjoyed staying in this condo! This place has everything you need to enjoy your beach vacation. This location is just a few minutes walk to the beach and so many amazing restaurants. The unit is also really close to the pool. We fell in love with Kihei and can’t wait to come back. Hopefully this place is available for our next visit. Thank you !
Condo was very clean and stocked with kitchen items . There were beach chairs and a boogie board to borrow . We had a wonderful trip and enjoyed Kihei , the local beaches and glorious sunsets . Snorkel at beach park 3 in the morning before nine to see lots of fish, turtles and eels..
the equipment, size and interieur was perfect. the Maui Vista complex perfectly located next to the beach and close to Kihei center. Only minus during our stay - the lanai was facing the main road (S Kihei Road) and it was very loud, even with windows closed. But the condo was great !thanks Art
The rental process was seamless and the condo owner (Art), was very nice and quick to reply to any questions I had. This condo is located directly across the street from Charles Young beach, which is beautiful and has beautiful sunsets. The condo was newly updated, clean, had everything we needed, and was within walking distance of multiple affordable dining options, shops, and a grocery store. It truly is a great location. I highly recommend staying at this condo and would be happy to rent it again in the future. You will not be disappointed.
A convenient location and comfortable place to stay. We loved our time at the condo. It came equipped with everything we needed to have a great day at the beach and be comfortable when we returned.
The condo could use some updating but with that comes higher prices and the price point worked well for us. Having an air conditioning unit in the bedroom was nice. It can be a bit loud out the bedroom window since it is a walkway people use to access the parking lot, but it was a minor inconvenience for us.

We had a good vacation; however, we booked this property almost a year in advance and we were moved two days before arrival to Kamala Terrance due to a renovation delay.
Communication with Arthur's contractor was good, but was very late. Wish this was relayed to us much sooner as the second property was much further from the beach and did not have laundry in the unit.
Great location - right next to the beach. Kitchen was OK - utensils, condiments, etc. Air conditioning.
Problems:
Carpet was kind of sticky.
House could use some ventilation.
Basic kitchen stuff absent - No cooking oil or salt.
Also had an issue with the toilet, which was resolved in a few hours (Apartment doesn't provide in-house plumber. Needed to call owner and arrange for external one)

I'm sorry my condo was not up to your standards.
In regards to your complaint of no ventilation, my previous guests have opened the windows in the bedroom and living room for the trade winds to ventilate the unit.
My kitchen is fully stocked with the cooking essentials for any typical visitor. I am unsure as to what you needed during your stay that would not have been supplied. Any condiments/seasonings/oil that could be found in the cupboards would be from previous guests who have left it behind. It is standard for guests to be responsible for their own supply of food essentials.
All condos at Maui Vista are privately owned, and therefore there is no "in house" plumber. It is standard for each owner to call an outside professional to handle any issues within the unit.
Maui is our favourite destination and we enjoy the Maui Vista complex. Have stayed there 3 times each for a month. This was our first stay on the main floor… this unit is well located in building 1 and except for a bit of early evening road noise the unit and patio was mostly quiet and private. On the patio we enjoyed a mix of sun and shade throughout the day. The unit is older but has updated appliances, etc and is generally in good repair and shows as taken care of. Kitchen is well equipped and furniture in good shape with an island theme. For me I would love to see a comfortable chair added to the living room… couch was great for my husband but not for me. When needed we had no problem contacting the owner and the on island contact… thx so much Art and Dennis…

Nice little ground floor unit just a few steps away from the office to check in. Also very close to the pool for that building. Lots of gear for the beach if you are so inclined, including chairs and snorkeling stuff. Suitably equipped for a longer stay, with refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave, and a washer/dryer unit. AC unit in living room area, and a portable AC unit in the bedroom. Oceanic Cable is a little bit or miss for TV, but with an extra HDMI port on the TV, I had no issues hooking up my little notebook and streaming stuff from there. Maybe bring a Fire stick or Roku stick if you expect to be watching a lot of TV.
There are several beaches along S Kihei Road, and it's a short drive down to Makena. It's also fairly close to Maalaea if you want to go to the aquarium at Maui Ocean Center, which is also where you'll find the Carl's Jr.
Shave ice truck something like a block away. Foodland is a little under a mile away, but Times Supermarket stays open a little later.

Nice rental in Maui Vista
We stayed there for a 5 days with two kids. Location is perfect because it is just few steps from Kamaloe Beach I and close to dinning and shopping. The condo's kitchen has everything you need but agreed with previous reviewer that it looks outdated. However, it is clean, well maintained and photos reflect the reality.
My husband and son were sleeping in the pull out couch and complaint about it a lot. The mattress is so thin and makes sleeping highly uncomfortable. It was only one problem for us. Also we were disappointed when didn't find kids sand tools and other beach staff like umbrella. That is why we bought ours and left it for next visitors ;) Rest is perfect for family staying. To our mind, perfect location - this is the star of this rental. All questions about the rental addressed to owner were pretty quickly answered. I would like to thank Art for let us have a late check-out that allowed us enjoy Maui a few hours longer! We appreciate it a lot.

Thank you for your comments. The issue with the sofa bed mattress has been addressed and now has a new six inch mattress. Much more comfortable then the previous one. We also replaced the ceiling fan in the bedroom and in the living room with a more efficient unit. In addition, we have provided a table with chairs and umbrella for the lanai.
