L'arrivĂ©e dans l'appartement est trĂšs facile grĂące Ă  toutes les infos donnĂ©es pas le propriĂ©taire qui est trĂšs rĂ©actif. L'appartement est conforme Ă  l'annonce. Il est trĂšs bien situĂ©, en bordure de plage avec une vue imprenable sur la mer. (Sauf quand on est assis Ă  table car le balcon est un peu en contrebas)L'appartement est joliment dĂ©corĂ© et fonctionnel mais un peu vieillissant. Tout fonctionne bien mais les plaques de cuisson sont assez corrodĂ©es, le lave linge fait beaucoup de bruits surprenants, quand au sĂ©chage il est illusoire. Il manque aussi peut-ĂȘtre des plats pour le micro-onde. Nous sommes venus en fin de saison (octobre). Il y avait peu de monde, donc c'Ă©tait trĂšs calme. Je ne suis pas sĂ»re qu'on pleine saison ça soit le cas. Nous entendions le matin le bruit des chaises du resto situĂ© juste en dessous quand ils dressaient les tables, nous avons eu des voisins pendant un weekend et on les entendait bien, ainsi que tous les gens qui passent devant la porte d'entrĂ©e. Enfin, il y avait par moment une petite odeur d'humiditĂ© dans l'appartement, mais c'est un peu normal en octobre si prĂšs de la mer quand il fait humide dehors et qu'il est difficile d'aĂ©rer.Nous avons passĂ© une trĂšs bonne semaine Ă  Arena d'en Castel. La plage est superbe, parfaite si on a des enfants, mais aussi pour nager. L'Ăźle Ă©tant toute petite, on peut aller Ă  peu prĂšs partout en peu de temps.

The location is the winner! A short walk to the beach and sea. A restaurant is underneath which was very handy (great food). All in all a great place to stop.

My wife and I had an incredible time celebrating our honeymoon here at Jose’s place in Menorca!!!! The property itself is very cute and cozy and it is literally right next to a very nice, family friendly beach. We would wake up every morning, get ready, and walk less than a minute to go relax next to the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. The restaurant next door is also a huge bonus. The staff are hilarious and kind and the food/drinks will make you feel like you’re in heaven. I can’t recommend this place enough!

We had a fantastic time in Menorca! This property was perfect for us with two young children. Beautiful views and the perfect location. The beach was literally a 1 min walk down the ramp which made it so convenient to go back and forth. Some great restaurants in the area with a small supermarket. Everything you need on your doorstep. José was a great host, replied promptly to any queries. Would definitely be coming back to this property next summer.

Perfect location overlooking the beach


We very much enjoyed our stay, great location and everything we needed on our doorstep. Water activities on the beach such as paddle boards and peddle boat hire really enhanced our stay, particularly for my 16 year old son. There is also a small but well stocked supermarket very close by which was very useful. The week we stayed was very warm, average daytime temp around 33c and 25- 27 c at night, was difficult to sleep as there is no AC but we slept with both double doors open to let in the breeze and soothing sounds of waves breaking onto the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Great beach location

The apartment is in a fantastic location, close to wonderful restaurants and right above the beach. There is everything that you need for a relaxing stay with great communication from the host.

Fantastic Apartment

The apartment was absolutely amazing. The view from all rooms was breathtaking. The apartment has all you need and more. The apartment had just been decorated prior to our arrival and the little touches are great. Jose was a superb host and communication was so quick. Big thank you Jose. Lastly the restaurants and bar underneath, along with the staff were lovely. We’ll be back.

AccĂšs plage direct

L’appartement est bien situĂ© en bord de plage, Arenal d’en Castell est une station balnĂ©aire familiale. Les propriĂ©taires sont trĂšs attentionnĂ©, et vous donnnent tous les conseils nĂ©cessaires. Il manque peut-ĂȘtre la climatisation pour les jours de grosse chaleur, et un lave-vaisselle serait un plus Ă©galement. Il y a des restaurants sous l’appartement mais cela n’occasionne pas de trop de problĂšme de bruit mais plus de parking pour ce garer.

Beautiful view, right on the beach

The location is absolutely incredible. It’s right on the beach with a gorgeous view from the bedroom. The space itself is very simple but also very functional.

Incontestablement, le gros point fort de cet appartement est son emplacement idĂ©al : Ă  deux pas de la plage, avec une vue magnifique et ressourçante sur toute la baie ! Nous en avons pris plein les yeux pendant tout notre sĂ©jour ! L’appartement en lui mĂȘme n’est pas des plus modernes mais il est fonctionnel avec de l’espace et il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour passer quelques jours dans de bonnes conditions. Jose est arrangeant, tout s’est bien passĂ©, nous avons grandement apprĂ©ciĂ© notre sĂ©jour !

Fantastic Location!

The house is located right on the beach with a lovely big balcony area and plenty of space for our family of 5. It is basic but has everything you need. The entire process was extremely easy as José communicated with us before we arrived and explained the check in process. José was also very helpful with finding a doctor for my daughter who needed medication. The area is perfect for young families as the beach is very safe for swimming. Lots of great restaurants in walking distance too. This house is perfect for a relaxed and easy holiday, we will definitely be returning.

Wonderful Place

I stayed 10 days with my family into this apartment directly on one of most beautiful beach in Menorca. The house is comfortable, JosĂš is very kind and helped us in any issue. If you like to weak up in the morning watching a wonderful sea, this is the right place.

Vue privilégiée et splendide!

L'appartement est idĂ©alement situĂ© pour dĂ©couvrir le nord et l'est de l'Ăźle. Arenal Den Castell est un endroit magnifique (en tout cas hors saison,) et la vue sur la plage est incroyable. L'accĂšs Ă  celle-ci est Ă©galement trĂšs rapide (quelques dizaines de mĂštres). L'appartement lui mĂȘme est correct mĂȘme s'il mĂ©riterait un rafraĂźchissement; il Ă©tait adaptĂ© pour notre famille avec 2 ados, et nous Ă  permis Ă©galement de stocker notre matĂ©riel (paddle, coffre de toit). Le vĂ©ritable plus de cette location est son emplacement privilĂ©giĂ©.

Location location location

We had a fabulous time in José's place. The location is perfect, absolutely beautiful view with bars, restaurants and shops in walking distance. We had a 3 and 5 year old with us and the apartment was perfect, kids and adult bedroom don't share a wall. Kids room secure as window is high up from outside. Balcony wall, although a bit high and blocks the view when seated, is really safe for kids. The beach was perfect, some days so calm no waves at all so really safe for kids. We used the swimming pool at blue diamond resort with purchasing a drink/food which was lovely. Covid tests sorted with ease at local clinic, although there was a queue so take a book. All in all fab place for families. Jose a great host and responded very quickly to a few small issues with had, broken fan not enough wine glasses (!). Would recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Menorca.
