About this property

Pepin Guest Haus - walk to the winery! Sauna!

Welcome to Pepin Guest Haus! Unwind at our cozy yet modern loft above the garage with beautiful views of Lake Pepin and in walking distance to virtually everything in town. It is a block away from Villa Bellezza Winery.

Pepin Guest Haus is nicely appointed with everything you need for a relaxing trip- king bed, two twin rollaway beds, kitchenette, shower, living area with sofa and TV, and deck with seating area and grill. Enjoy our newly added sauna as well (waiver required)!

Please note: Since we are near Lake Pepin (you can view it from the deck), we are also near train tracks. Trains come at an undetermined schedule. Thankfully we are in a "no train horn" zone but they do rumble. While we love the trains and their nostalgia, this is not for everyone.

Please note: There are 15 steps to access the Pepin Guest Haus, which is located in a private and separate building from the main house (our residence) above the garage. We have a personal garage door opener/security camera that guests will walk by on the right side of the garage.

This was a picture perfect space that had all the essentials; pays to look in the drawers to get your baring and find toiletries and amenities. The furnishings were comfortable and appealing. The host went out of the way to be accommodating and available for communication. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning; and a walk to the winery for wine tasting. Will definitely look to revisit when in the area.

Clean, convenient, quaint. The train thing is something. The “occasional” train is sometimes 3 an hour, but not every hour. Some trains when they come by shake the unit. No blowing of the train horns. The shower head is just awful. Easy fix. When someone opens the garage door you will notice that. (The unit is above the garage) I’m 6’4” and if you are taller then that you will have to duck in the bedroom. Everything else was great.
