About this property
Upscale Harpers Ferry Getaway
Escape to a warm and inviting cedar retreat on a private 1-acre lot, minutes from where the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers meet. This upscale 3-bedroom home comfortably sleeps 8 and features two spacious living areas — perfect for families or groups to relax in style. Step outside to unwind in the gazebo, gather around the fire pit, or fire up the gas grill for a cookout. Enjoy the perfect balance of convenience and solitude — a true getaway where nature, history, and comfort come together.
The space
Situated in a quiet, scenic neighborhood, this home puts you close to everything Harpers Ferry has to offer. Foodies will love the variety of dining nearby, from fine restaurants to incredible local taco spots. History buffs can explore Downtown Harpers Ferry, the Antietam Battlefield, and other historic sites. Outdoor enthusiasts can hike and bike scenic trails, raft or tube on the rivers, or even enjoy a horseback-and-wine tour just 20 minutes away. If you’re seeking peace and solitude, spend a quiet morning reading in the screened-in gazebo or curl up for an afternoon in either the cozy den or the sunlit living room.
Our mid-century modern retreat features soaring ceilings and abundant natural light across the open-concept kitchen, den, and living room. Two electric fireplaces add warmth and charm on cool mountain nights. Outdoors, enjoy grilling and dining under the trees, gathering around the fire pit for marshmallows and s’mores, or relaxing in the screened gazebo. The dining room seats six, with space for five more at the kitchen island, making it perfect for family meals.
Stay connected with high-speed Wi-Fi and enjoy three TVs with streaming channels. The home also includes a separate laundry room and private driveway for easy on-site parking.
Bedrooms & Sleeping Arrangements
Main floor: King bedroom with ensuite bath featuring a soaking tub, plus French-door access to the deck and gazebo. Includes a TV.
Upstairs right: Queen bedroom next to a full bathroom (no TV).
Upstairs left: Full + Twin bedroom (no TV).
Loft area: Twin daybed overlooking the living room.
The wooded yet mowed yard is perfect for a relaxed game night or outdoor play, with plenty of space to stretch out.
We are a dog-friendly home and welcome up to 2 of your fury friends. Unfortunately, we’re allergic to cats so can’t offer the same welcome to them. We ask that your dog(s) not jump up on the furniture, including beds, stay within our yard, and that you clean up after them.
Adventure is just minutes away with scenic hiking trails, river access for kayaking and rafting, and the charm of Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. Nearby, explore Shepherdstown and Charles Town, or take a short drive to Loudoun County wineries, local breweries, horseback riding stables, and Downtown Frederick, MD.
Leaving the property, turn left and take a 5-mile drive to Harpers Ferry or turn right and make the 7-mile drive to Shepherdstown. Stop for a breakfast sandwich and scrumptious coffee at the Bakerton Market, which is only a mile away. It’s a cute little market if you need to grab something fast or are craving an ice cream from their outside stand.
