Country living at it's best, country but not to far away from DFW and the rest of metroplex communities. 2 bed rooms, full kitchen, living room, nice large enclosed porch. Master bedroom downstairs king size bed, it's own bathroom with all amenities. Upstairs queen size bed with it's own full bathroom, tub/shower. Washer, dryer for your use, carport for covered parking. Access to internet if need be and tv. Lovely house in country, quiet, trees, pastures, longhorns roaming about. Depending on where longhorns are at you can watch them from enclosed porch or house or visit them outside. Fenced and gated. Lots of things to see in DFW area all for the most part with in an hour or less drive. South Fork Ranch, Ft Wth Stockyards, Zoos, Gardens, Water parks, Six Flags, Kennedy memorial, Reunion Tower, Mesquite Rodeo, Outlet malls, Flea markets, and gambling in Oklahoma at largest casino, and much more. Book 1 week or more and get 10% discount, for a month 30%, thank you for looking. Well behaved pets welcome and there is a pet fee. NO parties, events of any kind allowed! Should you do so we will request you leave immediately, and no refunds of any kind. Should it be necessary you will also be charged extra.

The home was very spacious. We came to Texas with my elderly parents for a visit with our children who live in Wylie and Farmersville. The location was perfect. It is out in the country. We loved seeing the longhorns. We had everything we needed and more. The host was very responsive to all of our questions as well. We would definitely book again.

Little yellow farmhouse

Wonderful accommodations

fun, unique decor with wonderful views of Longhorns in the pasture. Very comfortable beds, however they were quite high. Loved our stay here and would definitely book again.

This is a great place, the house is amazing inside, Dagmar and Joe were so nice and made sure you had everything you need. Nice fence in yard for pets if needed. Will stay again!

Perfect Texas Getaway!

This was a wonderful stay at a charming home. The house is gorgeous and accommodating. The downstairs shower is a true treat and the enclosed dog area was helpful. Overall the stay was comfortable and exceeded expectations.

I have never visited a place completely stocked, but this place has everything. You don't have to run to the store for anything but food. The long horns are a special treat, and the host are GREAT! Oh, the shower, very nice!!

Wonderful property and friendly hosts!

We had a great stay! The house was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and there were many thoughtful items for long-term stays. The wi-fi was reliable and there was space set up to comfortably work from home. Our dogs were comfortable as well. Best of all were our friendly hosts—Jo and Dagmar, and of course the longhorns!

Home on the range

We had a great experience loved seeing the longhorn steer in the field surrounding the property. Our dog loved the fenced in area. The owners were very gracious and made sure we had everything that we needed. We would definitely recommend this area to anyone coming to the Dallas area.

Spacious Ranch-house and Open Skies

This is an easy-to-find, spacious and clean house with two bedrooms, one up and one down, surrounded by fields near Farmersville, Tx.. We enjoyed the huge, well-furnished kitchen and roomy den with an electric fireplace. Privacy, quiet, comfort and good communication from the owners made this a good choice.

Life With Longhorns

Most peaceful weekend we have had in a very long time. Beautiful farmhouse with everything you need to relax. Beautiful animals to stare at in awe. Quick drive to restaurants and grocery. Such gracious hosts; couldn't ask for better. Our dogs loved it, too!

Perfect for our home away from home.

This sweet country home was perfect for us. All our needs were meet. Comfortable bed, furniture. All the necessary appliances and cooking needs. A lovely country home with a fenced dog yard.
