Charming, Cozy and Clean Cottage in Carlisle
Welcome to the Carlisle Cottage. A studio home that is small, cute, clean & conveniently located. Offers 1 Queen bed and additional Queen air bed available upon request when booking. Sleeps 2-3 adults and/or 1-2 children. Centrally located to shops, restaurants, the US Army War College, Dickinson college and the Carlisle Fairgrounds but not walkable to these locations. Easy I 81 on/off access and minutes to the PA Turnpike. Smoking not allowed indoors but ok on the porch with receptacle provided. There is always 1 designated parking spot indicated with a guest parking sign just outside the front door. If additional parking or oversized vehicle or trailer parking is needed, please contact host prior to booking to see if we can accommodate. The property has outdoor cameras for security and the host lives just next door in the main house. As listed in our policies, no parties or events allowed.

My husband Burt and I have raised 4 sons. The youngest is attending Shippensburg University and is a student athlete on the football team so is infrequently home these days. We have 2 dogs (boxers Major and Duke). Burt is a USMC veteran that has worked in Carlisle for the same company for the past 30 years. I have spent most of my adult life working in the corporate world but have flexed how I spend my time over the past couple years with a variety of things including managing the short term rental. We live on the property if the home just next door so are in close proximity for any of our guest needs. We look forward to hosting you.
Why they chose this property
The cottage is on our property just behind the home we live in. It is conveniently located to interstates, shopping, restaurants, the US Army War College, Dickinson College and activities in our community. While York Road is busy, the cottage sits behind our home and is very quiet and peaceful.
What makes this property unique
The property is a studio home that is very peaceful and quiet. It offers a 1000 square foot open space that provides everything needed for a comfortable and cozy night or week away from home. We have worked hard to appoint it with everything one may need and take pride in its cleanliness and our commitment to you enjoying your stay.
