Beautiful new house set in a peaceful private meadow. Watch deer, wild turkeys, hummingbirds, bald eagles and much more from the spacious back porch. Play ping pong in the family room or build a fire outside in the firepit and watch the stars at night. Hike local trails, relax by Sherman's Creek, visit Hershey Park, Carlisle car shows or the lake at Little Buffalo State Park. Local antique venues are nearby and nationally known. Our host was pleasant, attentive and responsive. The home is very nice, modern, comfortable,well equipped. It's in great condition as well. We made our breakfasts and evening meals there. All equipment is modern and in good working order. Such a cozy, comfortable place to stay!

We had an amazing stay. We attended the Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle and it was peaceful to return to the cabin each evening for a relaxing time. My son-in-law and grandsons, along with a friend from high school, were together. We loved this place! Communication with the owner was great. I highly suggest staying here.

This is not our first stay, and it won't be the last. The Owl House is a beautiful, quiet location. Secluded enough for privacy, close enough to the owner (and good neighbors) for security.

Peaceful getaway

My wife and I spent a weekend at this beautiful home. The hosts are amazing, they were very quick to respond and very kind. We enjoyed seeing lots of wildlife including a bald eagle. We definitely look forward to staying here again in the future.

Wonderful stay at the Owl House

Our host Lynne was wonderful. The Owl House was super clean & a real hoot to stay in. Our family loved the thoughtful decor and the relaxed setting with so much nature around. It was so nice to have coffee on the front porch in the morning while watching the hummingbirds come and go. We would definitely stay again. Thanks Lynne!
