Its professionally decorated interior creates an inviting atmosphere, highlighted by a wall of windows on the main floor that opens to let in the Smoky Mountain air, offering immersive valley views.

The cabin spans two main levels, each with its own outdoor deck.

The upper level features an open-concept layout, connecting the fully equipped kitchen and living area to the expansive windows overlooking Wears Valley. Whether cooking a meal or lounging on the sofa watching the big game, you can enjoy the mountain breeze. This level also includes a laundry room with a washer and dryer for guest convenience, two bedrooms, including a master with a spacious walk-in closet and private bathroom.

The outdoor upper deck is thoughtfully furnished for both relaxation and productivity, featuring a comfortable sofa and chairs with a coffee table—perfect for unwinding or getting some remote work done outdoors while taking in the mountain views. A grill and outdoor dining table make it ideal for al fresco meals, letting you fully embrace the Smoky Mountain experience.

The lower level is an entertainment haven, featuring:

Guest booking must be 25 years of older. No pets, parties or events. NO SMOKING or drug use on property. No fireworks or campfires allowed. Parking area and entrance are under video surveillance.

BE ADVISED. The property is accessed via a steep, single-lane gravel (tires may spin a few times) logging road that has a few large pot holes. However, our Amazon driver manages deliveries in a small car, even at night, without issues. For a smoother experience, we highly encourage using a small SUV with higher ground clearance. The home isn't part of a vacation resort with paved roads, you get the real mountain experience to include a true Smoky Mountain road.

Guest will be sent a rental agreement and an Identity Verification to be signed and returned within 48 hours after booking.

At Song of the Whippoorwill, we use a dynamic pricing model, so our rates may vary daily depending on demand, availability, and seasonal factors.

The cabin is equipped with six televisions, each outfitted with both Amazon Fire and Roku devices, allowing you to choose your preferred streaming platform. Guests are responsible for bringing their own streaming service subscriptions (BYOS).

Instacart delivery is available, allowing you to skip the grocery store and have everything delivered after check-in—more time to relax, less time running errands.

For those families with little ones we now have a high chair and pack and play.

Song of the Whippoorwill offers the fastest internet in the Smoky Mountains, providing guests with a high-speed 1.2 GB connection through Xfinity.

For the security of the property and the safety of our guests, the exterior of the home is monitored by security cameras.

Wildlife Notice
The home is located on a remote mountain property situated on 1.5 acres. Wildlife is very common in the area, including bears, coyotes, raccoons, an occasional bobcat, and other animals, which are frequently seen on our exterior cameras. For your safety, please admire wildlife only from the decks and do not feed or approach any animals.

Sorry but NO PETS ARE ALLOWED. Owners stay at the home often and have severe allergies.

• Pest Management: Monthly pest control is conducted, but bugs are common in the mountainous area. Please report any pest concerns.
• Noise: Located on a secluded mountain, a small amount of road noise at times my be audible from the valley below due to the clear mountain air.
• Amenities:
• Gas grill: A backup propane tank is stored beneath the end table by the outdoor couch to ensure uninterrupted grilling.
• Fire pit: A spare full propane tank is kept under the end table near the fire pit seating.
• Holiday Stays: Starting November 1st, the home will feature Christmas decorations, and the listing will be updated with new photos.
