We had a wonderful visit to celebrate my birthday with close friends and their family. The home was well equipped and lovely! The person from the company was incredibly responsive and helpful. I never caught their name but 10 out of 10! The only feeeback I had was about extra linens/blankets. But we loved our weekend away! Thank you again!

3/5 Stars – Beautiful Property but Needs Some Maintenance and TLCWe had a mixed experience during our stay. On the positive side, the house itself is absolutely beautiful, and having the golf cart was a fantastic perk—it worked great and added a lot of fun and convenience to our trip.However, we did encounter multiple small issues that dampened our experience and need the host's attention: * **Safety Concern:** The left front step board is coming off, which is a significant safety hazard and very dangerous for anyone walking up. * **Maintenance Issues:** Several door handles came completely off during our stay, and the beds were less than comfortable. * **Cleanliness Oversight:** While the home looks nice at first glance, the deep cleaning was lacking. There were noticeable cobwebs on the ceiling, and we found food crumbs left in the cup holders of the couch.This property has so much potential and is truly a lovely home, but it definitely needs a thorough maintenance check and a more detailed eye from the cleaning crew. With a few quick fixes and a deep clean, it would easily be a 5-star stay.

Our supervisor inspected the property thoroughly on the day of arrival to make sure it was in great shape for your arrival. We reached out to make sure everything was okay for your first night and you replied, “Yes, thank you for checking”. There was no mention of any of the issues you listed until after your stay. Daufuskie Rental group strives to make sure our guests have the best experience and would have helped you in anyway if this was communicated to us during your stay. Just a note for future guests, all front boards have been professional replaced and inspected within the last year and pose no safety issue.
