The Space:
This bright and freshly renovated 1-bedroom, 1-bath home is open and welcoming, with plenty of space to relax after a day out in the city. The living room flows easily into the dining area and fully equipped kitchen, all filled with natural light. Guests will enjoy convenient touches like a washer and dryer, high-speed Wi-Fi, central heating and A/C, and a large tiled walk-in shower—perfect for unwinding after exploring New Orleans.
While newly updated for modern comfort, the home maintains its New Orleans charm with clean lines, warm wood furnishings, and inviting décor. The spacious walk-in closet in the bedroom keeps everything organized, and the open layout makes it feel airy yet cozy. The bright finishes and thoughtful touches create a relaxing home base for both short stays and longer visits.
The home occupies the bottom floor of a two-story residential house. You’ll be just minutes from City Park, home to the New Orleans Museum of Art and the Botanical Garden, and within easy reach of local favorites like Parkway Bakery & Tavern for an iconic po’boy. It’s a peaceful, oak-shaded spot to recharge between your NOLA adventures.
Guest Access:
The entire unit is private and exclusively for guests. You’ll enter the home using a smart lock on the front door. For added security, each guest receives a unique four-digit code that activates at check-in and automatically deactivates after check-out.
Parking is simple and convenient: the street directly in front of the house is well-lit and offers free parking on both sides, as do the surrounding streets. Outside of major events like Mardi Gras day, you’ll have no trouble finding a spot just steps from the front door.
The Neighborhood:
Located in the Mid City neighborhood, this historic area is lined with century-old oak trees and charming homes that showcase the iconic New Orleans architecture that makes the city so unique. You couldn’t ask for a more convenient spot for Jazz Fest or the New Orleans Fair Grounds horse races—we’re less than a ten minute walk from the entrance! It's also just around the corner from some of the most famous Mardi Gras parades.
Our neighborhood is lively and full of character, especially during Jazz Fest and racing season, so please keep in mind that it can get noisy at times. Savor the flavor of New Orleans at the many local restaurants nearby, or take a quick 5-10 minute drive to the French Quarter for classic Crescent City culture, food, and people-watching. Need recommendations? Just ask—we’re happy to share our favorite local spots to make your stay unforgettable.
Getting Around:
Street parking is free and easy. There are plenty of spots immediately in front of the home and on all of the nearby streets, you won't have any issues finding a nearby spot.
Walking and biking is extremely easy and convenient. With dozens of bars and restaurants within just a few blocks you'll never have to drive anywhere. The Fairgrounds and beautiful City Park are just a few minutes away, and there's a bike path that starts a few blocks from the house (on Esplanade Ave) all the way down to the French Quarter so you can get anywhere in no time.
There is also a New Orleans Blue Bike station a couple of blocks away, allowing you to rent electric-assist bikes at $0.15 / minute to get wherever you'd like to go. Uber and Lyft are also very easy and convenient from our location. You can get pretty much anywhere throughout New Orleans in 10-15 minutes thanks to the properties central location.
Other Things to Note:
JAZZ FEST: The home is one of the best possible locations for Jazz Fest. Door to door it's about a 10 minute walk to get to the festival, or about a 3-4 minute bike ride if you want to grab one of the pay per minute blue bikes (blue bike station is located about 2 blocks from the house). It's just far enough away from the festival to be able to enjoy peace and quiet while at home, but close enough to be able to avoid driving and the insane traffic without having to miss any of the music.
Interaction with Guests:
Guest satisfaction is our top priority. Please message us if you need anything or if you have any questions and a member of our team will be able to quickly get back to you ASAP. And if there is an emergency please give us a call.
