About this property
Spacious Luxury Retreat Near OU 3 King Beds Dog Friendly No Bunks
Perfect for game days, reunions, and family getaways — your Norman retreat is ready.
Just 10 minutes from OU and 25 minutes to Bricktown and downtown OKC, The Talley Estate blends comfort, space, and intentional design in one beautifully welcoming home.
The home comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests with three king bedrooms, two queen beds, a twin trundle, and a full pull-out sofa. Two private suites feature ensuite baths — one with a jetted tub, the other with a private deck — and every bedroom includes its own Smart TV, giving everyone a place to unwind.
Cook and gather with ease in the chef’s kitchen featuring a gas cooktop, double ovens, a walk-in pantry, and a fully stocked coffee and tea bar. The dining table expands to seat up to 14, making shared meals and celebrations effortless.
The spacious living room offers a sectional, sofa, chairs, a bar-top workspace, and a 75” Smart TV — ideal for movie nights, relaxed evenings, or cheering on the Sooners.
Step outside to a private backyard retreat with a covered pergola, dining and lounge seating, a propane grill, and a fire pit. String lights create a cozy atmosphere year-round, and the seasonal pool (open May–October) is a favorite feature during warmer months.
Tucked at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with no back neighbors, the estate offers privacy while still providing quick access to I-35 and Highway 9.
Family-friendly amenities include a pack ’n play, high chair, kids’ dinnerware, books, and games.
Dogs are welcome and with bowls, furniture pads and blankets, waste bags, as well as crates upon request. Dogs may relax on furniture when using provided covers, and we kindly ask that they stay primarily in one bedroom when possible. A $125 non-refundable pet fee per stay applies to cover additional cleaning.
For peace of mind, the home includes smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, a first aid kit, and a storm shelter located in the garage. Parking for 5+ vehicles and keyless entry make arrival easy.
Your hosts live in a separate guest house on the property and are available if needed, while still ensuring you enjoy complete privacy throughout your stay.

About the host
Hosted by Kathryn Carpenter
Hi from Kathryn and Tracie! We’re a mother–daughter duo who love creating spaces that feel like home. Kathryn also runs a senior dog rescue, and Tracie lives in the guest house on-site — close by if you need help, but out of the way so you can relax and unwind.
Why they chose this property
We first bought this house as our family home, and we fell in love with the neighborhood right away. Nestled in The Trails, it’s full of tree-lined streets, friendly neighbors, and beautifully unique homes. It’s quiet, peaceful, and the perfect place for a morning walk or evening stroll — one of those neighborhoods that just feels good to come home to.
