One of our best VRBO stays! Beautiful property, extremely well done renovation of an historic home. Interior space welcoming, colors relaxing. Spaces to appease all of us whether it was for quiet time or be part of the central gathering in the spacious kitchen/dining area. Amenities above the usual, felt luxurious. Location so easy to get to any of the area attractions. Makes you want to stay longer to explore the area more. Will definitely be back!! Hosts easy to contact, good directions/instructions. Had everything we needed to feel at home!

I really loved the old originality of the farmhouse coupled with the new kitchen improvements and bathroom improvements. The colors of the interior were well done and work really well with the time period. I like the simplicity of the details throughout the house and also the antique items that help tie it all together.I love having my dog with us, a lot of places will not let you bring a pet.Zach is quick to respond on any check in/ check out questions, or for any questions, very helpful. If you are a golfer, you can easily walk right across the street to the golf course and play a few rounds.Very clean house. We really enjoyed our stay

We came up here for a weekend wedding. I really enjoyed this house! It had alot of old world charm with updated modern conveniences. Beautiful kitchen area!!However, as we were on our way there , we received a message and apology for the host that there had been a problem with the septic system but it had been corrected, however the lawn had been recently dug up. This was concerning for me and I started to panic. I thought we should have been informed earlier so we would have time to cancel and find another place if we wanted too, but at that point it was too late. Upon arrival the exterior looked rough. The roof was rusty and the yard was nonexistent, no plantings or lawn care. We went in and found the house to be very charming. Keeping in mind that this is an older property the floors are very uneaten and slanted, the updates were very nice. There was a book with information about the house and area and some snacks left for us! It was actually very lovely and welcoming once you got past the rough exterior. The host was gracious and thoughtful making sure lights were on, there were warm touches everywhere and the house was very clean. Heated floors in the bathrooms were awesome! Cons: The toilet in the master bedroom ran when flushed so we had to open the tank and hold down the plunger while it filled. The second bedroom had a small drip under the sink. I made the owner aware of both issues when we left. I would recommend this property.

Hi Gratia, Thank you for your detailed review; we truly appreciate your feedback. Unfortunately, the problems with the septic only came up a few days before your stay, and we definitely called in some favors getting it functional quickly so as not disrupt your booking, even if the appearance of the backyard was impacted. If we had know this was an issue for you, we would have offered your the opportunity to cancel, but since the issue was purely cosmetic by the time you got there, we thought a note of explanation would suffice. We're sorry that note alarmed you; it was not our intention. We also appreciate the heads-up on the toilet and leak on the sink; we certainly would have addressed these issues during your stay if we had know about them in advance of your departure. Thanks again for your stay!
