This place had everything! A hot tub, sauna, was spacious and a 3 min drive to skiing. It looked like it was newly updated and the owner was very responsive throughout the stay. We had the best ski weekend - I highly recommend!

This is a beautiful property! Very clean! Nice kitchen and nice appliances! The beds were very comfortable! Nice space downstairs with a separate bedroom. The location is great for skiers about a 2 min drive to Granite Peak Ski resort! Downtown Wausau is about 20 mins drive Nice restaurants and The Chocolate Cafe was delish!!! I would definitely stay here if we get to come back!! Joe was great he even came over and shoveled! Thank you! Angel - Saint John, Indiana

This was one of the best VRBOs we’ve stayed at! With two teenagers, we need space but yet want a cozy environment. Everything is updated, very clean and had all we needed. Kitchen was stocked with what we needed for cooking. Plenty of linens so did not have to do laundry, which while on vacation is always a plus! Great mud room to dry off ski gear. Plenty of seating in the family room but again felt cozy. When it was time to sleep beds were comfy and good pillows. Location cannot be beat! Minutes to the slopes so could go back and forth when we wanted without feeling like we were losing skiing time. Excellent host! Gave great recommendations and quickly responded.

We took a chance on Joes house because typically I do not stay at houses that have no reviews yet…..and it was perfect!! (I couldn’t wait to leave the first review lol) Joe was great from the start, I asked about a crock pot and he made sure there was one before we arrived. We had a big group of 10 and there were enough beds for everyone. The beds were super comfortable, and that means everything after a long day of skiing! The house is super clean, and very spacious, and also decorated very nice. I loved the big mudroom, when coming in with wet boots after the ski hill that is a big convenience. Not to mention he is right down the road from Granite Peak, we could see the ski hills lit up from a bedroom window. We had teenagers and adults and there was room for all to watch tv together in the living room (on a really comfy couch and chairs!) as well as splitting up to do our own things if we wanted. The teens loved the basement and had plenty of their own space to hang out down there. The hot tub was a nice feature, some of us used it and loved it. Joe even let us have a later checkout because there was a winter weather advisory. It was a great stay and Joe is a great host, we will DEFINITELY be back!
